Abstract: The present disclosure provides a configuration and technique of fabricating remote phosphor optics (such as lenses) for downconverting LEDs, replacing the prior art solid hemispherical lenses with a novel thin-shell hemispherical lens that can be used with a wide range of encapsulating materials, including low index materials such as air and methyl silicones. The present disclosure further provides a configuration and technique whereby the remote phosphor lenses can be used with an LED array.

The sensing device includes a substrate; an antenna disposed on the substrate; an electronic circuit disposed on the substrate and electrically coupled to the antenna; a heating element electrically coupled to the electronic circuit for heating a target area; and a sensing element thermally coupled to the heating element for sensing a temperature of the heating element. The RF sensing device is configured to wirelessly receive a power and provides the power to the heating element.

Abstract: A system includes personal protective equipment (PPE) configured to be worn by an agent. The PPE includes a sensor assembly configured to generate sensor data including one or more of motion data, heading data, and inertial data. The system also includes at least one computing device configured to receive the sensor data from the sensor assembly. The at least one computing device is also configured to generate pose data of the agent based on the sensor data in response to a series of movements by the agent away from an arrival point. The pose data includes an agent location, an agent heading, and a movement activity type for each pose in a series of poses. The at least one computing device is further configured to generate a navigation path based on the pose data.

The apparatus includes camera hardware configured to capture image data associated with an output signal area of a biological chromatographic test strip (410) inserted into a receiving slot of the lightbox. The apparatus further includes processing circuitry in communication with the camera hardware, the processing circuitry being configured to determine, based on the image data captured by the camera hardware, a concentration of a target analyte in a test sample submitted via the biological chromatographic test strip. The apparatus further includes an interface in communication with the processing circuitry, the interface being configured to output data indicative of the concentration of the target analyte determined by the processing circuitry.
