    摘要: An assembly for deploying a stranded support structure implant within a bone cavity to support the bone which defines the cavity comprises a support structure implant and an insertion tool. The support structure implant is formed from interlaced wires which extend from a first end of the structure towards an opposite second end. The structure flares outwardly from the first end to a maximum transverse dimension at a wide point between the first and second ends, and tapers inwardly between the wide point and the second end to a constant cross-section throat portion at the second end. The structure includes (i) a clip for controlling the spacing between the wires at the first end of the structure, in which the clip carries one of a spigot and a socket, and (ii) a ring clamp at the second end to retain the wires at the second end, in which the ring clamp has at least one clamp engagement formation. The insertion tool includes a probe end which carries the other of a spigot and a socket, so that the probe end and the clip can engage one another by means of the cooperating spigot and socket. An actuator moves the probe end relative to the tool engagement portion to cause the length of the implant to increase and its width to decrease.

The drill guide can be locked relative to the housing against angular adjustment by a clamp which comprises a lower pair of clamping surfaces provided by the drill guide bulb and the internal wall of the recess respectively, and an upper pair of clamping surfaces on the drill guide and the housing respectively, arranged so that the drill guide can be locked against angular adjustment by engagement between the frame clamping surfaces and the drill guide clamping surfaces of each of the lower and upper pairs, in which the upper clamping surface of the drill guide is spaced apart from the bulb along the drill guide sleeve.

In specific embodiments, the hygroscopic food powder is a dietary fiber, such as polydextrose, and the emulsifier is lecithin. The source of edible fat can be any typical source, including compound coatings and chocolate coatings. Other embodiments of the present invention provide methods to make edible adhesive coatings, methods to make food products using edible adhesive coatings, and food products comprising edible adhesive coatings.
