    摘要： The present invention includes a mechanism having a brake rotor adapted to connect to a vehicle and a brake caliper having a brake pad. The brake caliper clamps the brake pad against the brake rotor to slow the vehicle. The clamping causes heating of the brake rotor and a hydrocarbon release. The mechanism also includes a glowing member connected to an outboard face of the brake rotor such that heating causes glowing of the glowing member. The glowing member provides a visually pleasing aesthetic appearance from the brake rotor visibly to bystander.

The device comprises means for downscaling the background image by a pre-determined factor n1, n2, . . . nN; means for uncompressing the downscaled background image and the high-resolution bitmap image; means for dividing the uncompressed high-resolution bitmap image into blocks of n1×n2× . . . ×nN pixels, whereby the size of each block correspond to the size of each pixel of the downscaled background image; and, means (16) for blending each of the blocks of the uncompressed high-resolution bitmap image with each of the pixels of the downscaled background image and thus producing a blended image.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for providing terminating services to calls is disclosed. In a first embodiment, a service broker in a VoIP network determines service match information corresponding to the call that originates in a PSTN network in order to determine whether terminating services are required for the call. The service broker then forwards that service match information to an application server where the required terminating services, if any, are applied to the call. The application server then forwards the call and the results of any applied terminating services to a CCE in order to continue call set up. In a second embodiment the call originates in an IP network.

    摘要： An oil scavenge system includes a tangential scavenge scoop and a settling area adjacent thereto which separately communicate with a duct which feeds oil into an oil flow path and back to an oil sump. A shield is mounted over the settling area to at least partially shield the collecting liquid oil from interfacial shear. A multiple of apertures are located through the shield to permit oil flow through the shield and into the duct. The scavenge scoop forms a partition which separates the duct into a first portion and a second portion. The first portion processes upstream air/oil mixture that is captured by the tangential scoop while the second portion receives the oil collected in the settling area.
