Abstract: A polypropylene composition (PC) being a mixed-plastic polypropylene blend having: a) an MFR2 of 5.0 to 19.0 g/10 min; b) a flexural modulus of 1500 to 2200 MPa; c) an MSB surface quality value of 3 to 19; and d) a limonene content of 0.10 to 25.0 ppm; wherein the polymeric part of said polypropylene composition (PC) has: 1) a C2(total) of 10.0 to 30.0 wt.-%; 11) a crystalline fraction (CF) content of 60.0 to 80.0 wt.-%, said CF having a C2(CF) of 0.0 to 10.0 wt.-% and an iV(CF) of 1.0 to 2.0; and a soluble fraction (SF) content of 20.0 to 40.0 wt.-%, said SF having a C2(SF) of 45.0 to 65.0 wt.-% and an iV(SF) of 1.8 to 3.6 dL/g.

Abstract: A composition suitable for automotive application obtainable by blending at least components (A), (B), (C) and (D): (A) 15 wt.-% to 50 wt.-%, preferably 18 to 44 wt.-%, more preferably 20 to 40 wt.-% of a mixed-plastics polypropylene blend; (B) 20 wt.-% to 50 wt.-%, preferably 22 to 47 wt.-%, more preferably 25 to 45 wt.-% of a heterophasic propylene copolymer; (C) 5 wt.-% to 25 wt.-%, preferably 7 to 23 wt.-%, more preferably 10 to 22 wt.-% of an ethylene-based plastomer and (D) 5 wt.-% to 25 wt.-%, preferably 7 to 22 wt.-%, more preferably 10 to 20 wt.-% of an inorganic filler.

Abstract: The invention relates to a polyolefin composition comprising a) 5-30 wt % (based on the overall weight of the polyolefin composition) of at least one polypropylene homopolymer; b) 25-60 wt % (based on the overall weight of the polyolefin composition) of a blend of recycled plastic material comprising polypropylene and polyethylene in a ratio between 3:7 and 49.5:1, which is recovered from a waste plastic material derived from post-consumer and/or post-industrial waste; c) 20-50 wt % (based on the overall weight of the polyolefin composition) of at least one particulate filler, in particular talc, and optionally further additives, wherein the sum of all ingredients adds always up to 100 wt %, wherein the polyolefin composition has a melt flow rate MFR2 (230° C., 2.16 kg, measured according to ISO 1133) of at least 3.5 g/10 min; and a tensile modulus at 23° C. of at least 3 GPa (ISO 527-2).

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film with improved breakdown strength and to a capacitor comprising an insulation film comprising a layer of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film of the present invention. The present invention is further directed to a process for producing a biaxially oriented polypropylene film. Finally, the present invention is further directed to the use of a biaxially oriented polypropylene film of the present invention as layer of an insulation film of a capacitor. The BOPP film comprises a polypropylene composition, wherein the polypropylene composition comprises a high isotactic homopolymer of propylene and a polymeric α-nucleating agent. The BOPP film has a dielectric breakdown field strength Eb63.2 of at least 595 kV/mm. The process for producing a biaxially oriented polypropylene film comprises the steps of extruding a polypropylene composition to a flat film and orienting the flat film simultaneously in the machine direction and in the transverse direction.
