The start controlling unit receives the starting voltage and outputs a start controlling signal according to the starting voltage. The driving unit is electrically connected to the start controlling unit and the fan, respectively. The driving unit receives the start controlling signal for controlling the rotation speed of the fan.

The motor control device includes a phase-wave signal sampling module, a first waveform modulating module, a second waveform modulating module and a control signal integrating module. The phase-wave signal sampling module outputs a first phase-wave signal and a second phase-wave signal in accordance with the rotation of the motor. The first waveform modulating module generates a first control signal in accordance with the first phase-wave signal. The second waveform modulating module generates a second control signal in accordance with the second phase-wave signal. The control signal integrating module generates a rotation rate control signal in accordance with the first control signal and the second control signal, and inputs the rotation rate control signal to a drive module to control a rotation rate of the motor.

    摘要: A fan motor speed control circuit and a voltage-regulating module thereof are disclosed. The fan motor speed control circuit includes the voltage-regulating module and a driving module electrically connected to the voltage-regulating module. The driving module includes a pulse signal generating unit, a speed control unit, and a drive unit. The speed control unit compares a high frequency pulse signal generated by the pulse signal generating unit with a variable reference voltage signal output by the voltage-regulating module, and then outputs a control signal to the drive unit to proceed the speed control of the fan motor. In application, the voltage-regulating module and the driving module are electrically connected to a voltage source in parallel.

    摘要: A circuit board adapted to a fan comprises a circuit region and a heat-dissipative film. The circuit region is provided on a first surface of the circuit board and comprises at least one heat-generating component thereon. The heat-dissipative film is coated on an edge portion of the first surface and is in contact with the heat-generating component. A plurality of openings through the heat-dissipative film, a protrusion of the circuit board, a cutout in the protrusion to expose the heat-generating component to airflow, etc., have been disclosed and claimed for enhancing the efficiency in heat dissipation. A heat sink may also be provided on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the circuit board. The heat sink is connected to the heat-dissipative film to help dissipate the heat generated by the operation of the fan.

    摘要: An alerting method for fan failure first reads a target value of rotating speed of a fan motor. Predetermining values of each parameters of the fan motor is calculated according to the target value of rotating speed of the fan motor. If a current value of rotating speed of the fan motor is lower than the target value of rotating speed of the fan motor, the failure recorded in a counter is added one time. If a current peak value of the fan motor is higher than a first predetermining current value, the failure recorded in the counter is added one time. If the duration of the current which is higher than a second predetermining current value of the fan motor is higher than a predetermining duration, the failure recorded in the counter is added one time. An alarm signal is sent if the failure recorded in the counter is larger than a predetermining time.
