Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cap assembly and a secondary battery. The cap assembly includes a cap plate provided with an electrode lead-out hole; an electrode terminal, covering the electrode lead-out hole and including a main body, wherein the main body is provided with a recess on a side wall; an isolating member including a receiving portion, wherein the main body is received in the receiving portion; and a protrusion, connected to an inner wall of the isolating member and extending towards an axis of the electrode lead-out hole, wherein the protrusion is received in the recess so as to prevent the main body from rotating relative to the isolating member. The cap assembly according to the embodiments of the present application can improve an overcurrent capacity and stability of the electrode terminal.

Abstract: The present application provides an end cover assembly, a secondary battery, a battery module, a device, a liquid-injection method and a device thereof. The end cover assembly for the secondary battery includes: an end cover, provided with a through hole for injecting electrolyte, and including a connecting portion; a sealing assembly, configured to seal the through hole; a locking-fixing member, configured to be movable relative to the connecting portion in a radial direction of the through hole, so as to realize switching between a locked state and an unlocked state of the locking-fixing member and the connecting portion. In the locked state, the locking-fixing member presses against the sealing assembly to restrict the end cover to be separated from the sealing assembly; in the unlocked state, the end cover and the sealing assembly are separable to allow electrolyte to be injected from the through hole.

Abstract: The present application relates to a battery, a method for manufacturing a battery, and a power consuming device. The battery includes at least two battery cells, wherein each of the battery cells includes electrode terminals arranged at end portions of two sides of the battery cell in a lengthwise direction, wherein a filling port for filling an electrolyte is provided in the electrode terminal on one side in the lengthwise direction of the battery cell, and the electrode terminals of the two battery cells are oppositely arranged in the lengthwise direction of the battery cells and are welded together to seal the filling ports. According to the battery of the present application, the filling port is provided in the electrode terminal, and the filling port does not occupy a space of an end cap, such that the size of the electrode terminal may be increased, thereby increasing the overcurrent area of the electrode terminal. Moreover, the entire battery is sealed directly by means of the electrode terminals without an additional sealing procedure, thereby reducing the cost and improving the production efficiency.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a battery and a method for manufacturing the battery, an apparatus of manufacturing the battery and an electricity-consuming device. In some embodiments, the battery includes a battery cell; a case assembly configured to accommodate the battery cell and including a first portion, in which the first portion is arranged at least one side of the battery cell in a first direction; and a first bonding member, in which at least part of the first bonding member is filled between the first portion and the battery cell and bonds the first portion and the battery cell. A first gap is formed between the first portion and the battery cell, and the first gap is configured to release an expansion stress when the battery cell expands. The solutions provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can improve the energy density and safety of the battery, and prolong the service life of the battery.
