摘要:
The invention relates to the control of pathogens. Disclosed herein are methods of producing transgenic plants with increased pathogen resistance, expression vectors comprising polynucleotides encoding for functional proteins, and transgenic plants and seeds generated thereof.
摘要:
This invention relates generally to transformed plant cells and plants comprising an inactivated or down-regulated gene resulting in increased tolerance and/or resistance to environmental stress as compared to non-transformed wild type cells and methods of producing such plant cells or plants. This invention further relates generally to transformed plant cells with increased tolerance and/or resistance to an environmental stress as compared to a corresponding non-transformed wild type plant cell, methods of producing, screening for and breeding such plant cells or plants and method of detecting stress in plants cells or plants.
摘要:
This invention relates generally to nucleic acid sequences encoding proteins that are associated with abiotic stress responses and abiotic stress tolerance in plants. In particular, this invention relates to nucleic acid sequences encoding proteins that confer drought, heat, cold, and/or salt tolerance to plants.
摘要:
The present invention describes genes and methods for the isolation of genes which encode gene products which, if not present, lead to a greatly delayed growth and/or complete standstill of growth of Arabidopsis thaliana at the seedling level. The invention describes the use of these genes and gene products encoded by them for the discovery of novel herbicides. In addition, the present invention describes the use of the genes and gene products identified herein for the generation of plants which are resistant to herbicides. The present invention also relates to a method for identifying herbicidally active substances, to substances identified by this method and to their use as herbicides. The invention furthermore relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, organisms comprising the nucleic acid constructs and/or vectors, specifically transgenic plants comprising the nucleic acid constructs and/or vectors. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for identifying antagonists and to their use, antibodies and antisense RNA molecules and compositions comprising a herbicidal substance isolated by the methods according to the invention. Furthermore, the invention realtes to compositions comprising the antibody, the antisense nucleic acid and/or the antagonist.

The present invention is generally related to a method to reduce the cost of filing a repetitive or a jumbo patent application. This can be accomplished by using paragraph identifiers and/or summarizing a part of repetitive disclosure in a table format. The present invention also relates to a method to reduce the cost of filing a repetitive or a jumbo patent application which is based on multiple priority applications. The present invention is further related to a method to reduce the cost of filing a subsequent patent application of a repetitive or a jumbo patent application. The present invention is further related to a method to prepare a patent application using automatic text editing process. The subject methods may be used to maximizing the intellectual property protection while minimizing the cost of preparing patent applications and obtaining patent rights.
摘要:
The invention relates to a method for the stable expression of nucleic acids in transgenic plants, controlled by a parsley-ubiquitin promoter (PCUbi4-2). Said promoter, isolated from parsley (petroselinum crispum) exhibits in almost all transgenic plants an intensely constitutive expression in almost all vegetable tissue, including the seed. It also contains, among others, a potentially heat-shock inducible element (HSE). The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors and transgenic plants and to the use of the latter for producing foodstuffs, animal feed, seeds, pharmaceuticals or fine chemicals.
