Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for transmitting positioning assistance data and a device. The method includes: receiving, by a network device, at least one positioning assistance data message sent by a positioning server, where the at least one positioning assistance data message is used to carry positioning assistance data; and broadcasting, by the network device, a system message to a terminal device, where the system message is used by the terminal device to obtain the positioning assistance data. According to the embodiments of this application, the network device broadcasts the system message to broadcast the positioning assistance data.

Abstract: This application provides a reference signal sequence transmission method. The method includes: generating a reference signal sequence based on a frame number of a radio frame; mapping at least a part of reference signals in the reference signal sequence to a resource position that corresponds to the radio frame and that is used to transmit the at least a part of reference signals; and sending the at least a part of reference signals or an orthogonal reference signal at the resource position, where the orthogonal reference signal is obtained by multiplying the at least a part of reference signals by a preset orthogonal code.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a reference signal sending method, a reference signal receiving method, and an apparatus. A reference signal sending method includes: obtaining a reference signal sequence, where the reference signal sequence includes multiple bits and exclusive OR of every two bits separated by one bit in the multiple bits is 1; performing Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying GMSK modulation on the reference signal sequence; and sending a modulated reference signal sequence. In the embodiments of the present invention, a reference signal sequence is designed as a sequence in which exclusive OR of every two bits separated by one bit is 1, GMSK modulation is performed on the reference signal sequence, and the same reference signal sequence is used to perform channel estimation during GMSK demodulation. Compared with a case in which a pseudo random sequence is used as a pilot symbol, channel estimation accuracy is improved.

Abstract: A message transmission method and device relating to the field of communications technologies are described that improve an anti-interference capability in message transmission. The method includes generating a scrambling code according to a scrambling code initialization seed, wherein the scrambling code initialization seed meets the following expression: cinit=R·2a7+P·(nf modk+1)·2b7 and then scrambling a message according to the scrambling code. The method further includes sending the scrambled message to a terminal on a physical downlink shared channel. Because the first time parameter has different values at at least two different moments, scrambling codes determined at the at least two corresponding different moments are different. Therefore, a possibility at which the base station uses a same scrambling code to scramble a same system message repeatedly in a time period is reduced, so that an anti-interference capability in system message transmission is improved.
