    摘要: An RF unit receives radio-frequency signals where a plurality of channels are frequency-multiplexed. An A-D unit converts the radio-frequency signals to digital signals. A processing unit processes the plurality of channels contained in the digital signals which have been converted by the A-D unit. The processing unit includes: a band-pass filter, having bands corresponding respectively to the plurality of frequency-multiplexed channels, which separates the digital signals into the plurality of channels; and a demodulation unit which demodulates the plurality of channels separated by the band-pass filter.

    摘要: A semiconductor device has printed wiring board (11) where electric wiring (18) connected to LSI chip (17) and to planar optical element (21) is formed, and where optical waveguide (25) which transfers light inputted into planar optical element (21) and/or light outputted from planar optical element (21) is fixed. Planar optical element (21) is mounted in one end of small substrate (13), and another end of small substrate (13) is connected to printed wiring board (11) by solder bump (26). One end of small substrate (13) where planar optical element (21) is mounted is fixed to printed wiring board (11) by a fixing mechanism. Small substrate (13) has flexible section (15), which is easily deformable compared with other portions of printed wiring board (11) and small substrate (13), in at least a partial region between one end where planar optical element (21) is mounted and another end electrically connected to printed wiring board (11).

    摘要: At least part of an optical device comprises an optical waveguide of a magneto-optical material. The magneto-optical material comprises a polycrystalline material having no lattice matching with an underlayer material. The optical waveguide exhibits no magnetic anisotropy due to an inverse magnetostriction effect caused by thermal strain. The magnetization direction of the optical waveguide is aligned with a traveling direction of light passing through the waveguide by shape magnetic anisotropy.

    摘要: This invention suppresses increase in power consumption and reduces the time it takes until a controller is usable when starting the operation of console main unit from the standby state by the controller through BT communication. When a console main unit 10 is started up from the standby state by a controller through BT communication, a main CPU 64 of the console main unit 10 reads in and runs a controller connection managing program after the BT driver is read-in and run. Upon reception of a logical layer connection request signal from the controller, the main CPU 64 stores that logical layer connection request signal in main memory 65, reads in and runs the controller connection managing program, reads in terminal identification information from the main memory 65, establishes a logical layer connection through BT communication, and makes a communication module 79 transmit a logical layer connection enable signal.

    摘要: When a user gives a parameter storage instruction via a remote controller, current settings of parameters in an input switching circuit, surround circuit, graphic equalizer and electronic volume are stored into a non-volatile RAM. Then, once the user gives a reproduction instruction via the remote controller, the stored settings of the parameters are read out from the non-volatile RAM and set to the input switching circuit, surround circuit, graphic equalizer and electronic volume. Once the user selects a desired one of customizing buttons that are provided on the remote controller belonging to an audio apparatus connected with a personal computer and selects functions to be allocated to the selected customizing button, the personal computer creates setting information in accordance with the user's selections, and transmits the thus-created setting information to the audio apparatus. In turn, the audio apparatus stores the allocated functions of the customizing button on the basis of the setting information.
