摘要： A disk controlling apparatus creates sense data indicating the contents of an error and writes it into an intermediate buffer provided within the disk controlling apparatus together with the record normally read when a key portion or a data portion constituting a record is not normally read. The disk controlling apparatus searches the intermediate buffer for desired record, reads and informs an error while taking the sense data into consideration for each record. The disk controlling apparatus stores a write address in a memory at the time of writing data, and when data are normally written the write address is eliminated from the memory, while holding the address when data are not normally written. At the time of reading data, if the address which agrees with the read address is stored in the memory, the disk controlling apparatus reports an error to a host apparatus. The disk controlling apparatus further calculates the busy ratio indicating the rate at which each channel adapters is used for I/O processing, and data is transmitted and received to and from the host apparatus through the channel adapter which has the lowest busy ratio.

摘要： An optically active block polyester copolymer formed of structural units represented by the following general formulas (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein represents for an asymmetric carbon atom and m and n each represents a natural number in the range of from 300 to 5000 is obtained by subjecting an optically active butyrolactone and a species of lactone other than the optically active butyrolactone to sequential ringopening copolymerization in the presence of a catalyst. This optically active block polyester copolymer possesses a high molecular weight and a high melting point (not less than 130.degree. C.) and forms a biodegradable and hydrolyzable material of high strength capable of tolerating the impacts of actual use.

摘要： Disclosed is a recording apparatus that includes a conveying device for conveying a recording sheet in a conveying direction, a recording device confronting the conveying device for recording an image on the sheet being conveyed and a supporting device for shiftably supporting at least one of the conveying device and the recording device for movement between a recording position where the conveying device and the recording device are in parallel contact with the recording sheet therebetween and a non-recording or separated position where the conveying device is separated from the recording device. In one embodiment, the recording device and the conveying device are separated in parallel in the non-recording position and the supporting device causes the at least one of the conveying device and the recording device to be non-parallel during movement from the non-recording position to the recording position. In another embodiment, during movement of the conveying device from the separated position to the recording position, the supporting device first causes a first end of the conveying device to obliquely shift towards the recording device and thereafter, causes a second end of the conveying device to shift toward the recording device.

A retaining portion is provided on the lever. A lock portion provided on the cover is engaged with the retaining portion when the lever has been rotated. A lever claw portion is provided on the retaining portion. The lock portion is provided on a distal end portion of the lock arm. A lock protection portion is provided on the retaining portion so as to be positioned away from a rotation center of the lever than the lever claw portion so that the lock protection portion covers the lock portion.

摘要： A lever-type connector includes a housing and a wire cover. Shafts are extended from the housing. A lever attached to the housing has a pair of parallel plates and a grip portion connecting the parallel plates. Each of the parallel plates is formed with a hole in which the shaft is inserted. A projection provided on the wire cover abuts one of the parallel plates in a state where the lever is attached to the housing so that the grip portion is disposed at a side of the lead-out port. A rotation preventing part is provided at one of the shafts and the hole of the one of the parallel plates and prevents a rotation of the lever in a state where the one of the parallel plates is deformed by the abutment of the projection.
