Abstract: System and techniques for distributed computing resources in an information centric network (ICN) are described herein. A request may be received at a node in the ICN. The request may include identification of a computing resource set and a timing threshold. Resources that correspond to a member of the computing resource set may be locked. The node may communicate a response to the request. The response may include an indication that performance of the member of the computing resource is possible and a time-period in which confirmation may be received.

Abstract: Techniques for providing cooperative communication via multicast communications are disclosed. An example apparatus comprises a memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory. The processing circuitry is configured to generate a multicast group address based, at least in part, on a geographical region of the apparatus, and broadcast the multicast group address to allow cooperative communication enabled devices to join a multicast group corresponding to the multicast group address. The apparatus is also configured to receive requests from the cooperative communication enabled devices to join the multicast group. The apparatus is also configured to transmit messages to the multicast group via multicast communications.

Abstract: Apparatuses, storage media and methods associated with computer assisted driving (CAD), are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes an autopilot engine to automatically pilot the vehicle out of a potential emergency situation, including to automatically pilot the vehicle for a period of time in view of a plurality of operational guardrails determined in real time for each of a plurality of timing windows; and a mitigation unit to conditionally activate the autopilot engine, including to activate the autopilot engine in response to analysis results indicative of the vehicle being potentially operated into the emergency situation manually. Abstract: Techniques are disclosed herein for on-demand ad hoc cooperation for autonomous vehicles in an emergency situation. According to an embodiment, a trigger indicative of an emergency situation is detected by a vehicle control system. In response to the trigger, a platoon is formed with one or more vehicles within a predefined radius of the vehicle control system. Communications are established with the vehicles in the platoon to determine a course of action to perform during the emergency situation.

Abstract: A communication device for multi-radio access technology (RAT) communications includes one or more processors and a plurality of transceivers. Each transceiver is configured to operate in at least one RAT of a plurality of RATs. The processors are configured to establish connection with a second communication device using a first transceiver of the plurality of transceivers and a first RAT of the plurality of RATs. A first data stream associated with a communication link connected to the second communication device and a third communication device is receive via a convergence function at the second communication device. The communication link uses a second RAT of the plurality of RATs. A code sequence is applied to a second data stream to generate an encoded second data stream, which is transmitted to the third communication device via a second communication link established based on information received via the first data stream.
