    摘要: When time-division multiplexed digital data signals are to be demodulated, symbols in a time slot and symbols in the next time slot are stored in memory. The digital data signal in each time slot includes a training sequence. Channel estimators extract channel information regarding stored signals from the signals themselves as well as from the training sequences in succeeding time slots and output the channel information to a channel information generator which combines the channel information from the channel estimators into channel information regarding the signal in the time slot. A demodulator receives the combined channel information and the stored signals and demodulates the signal in the time slot.

    摘要: A digital phase demodulator and digital phase demodulation method in delay detection form uses digital circuitry without a subtracter and with low power consumption. A phase measurement timing signal generator (11) outputs the phase measurement timing signal (103) produced by sampling a reception symbol cycle signal (101) by a reception signal (102) modulated to the logical level. A phase counter (31) outputs a synchronous clock signal (105) coinciding with a frequency of a reference clock (108) multiplied by n times the carrier frequency of the reception signal (102) so that the phase is synchronized with the phase measurement timing signal (103). The phase counter (14) counts the phase clock (105), and is reset by the phase measurement timing signal (103). The decoder (15) decodes a counted value (104) of the phase counter as a phase rotation quantity to the modulation data (107).

    摘要: In a TDMA cellular mobile communication system, incoming signals from the public switched network are converted by speech coder/data compressor units of a MTSO (mobile telephone switching office) to low-bit-rate signals and combined into a first TDM signal for transmission to a base station. The components of the first TDM signal are respectively routed according to a channel assignment signal and fed into desired modulators which are periodically activated according to the channel assignment signal to transmit signals on assigned channels to mobile units. Signals from the mobile units are received by demodulators at the base station and combined into a second TDM signal which is transmitted to the MTSO. The components of the second TDM signal are routed according to the channel assignment signal to appropriate speech decoder/data expander units for conversion to the original high-bit-rate signals for transmission to the network.
