摘要： A connector assembly having a floating structure includes a connector moveably mounted in a cradle housing. A part of this connector connects to and detaches from another connector facing, through a spacing, a connector-mounting window of the cradle housing. The connector on the moveable side is moveable freely within the range of the spacing. An elastic member of flexible material is provided on the exterior of the moveable-side connector and closely contacts and is housed in a housing part formed in the cradle housing. An elastic member restoring force, acting when coupling between the moveable-side connector and the other connector is released, causes the moveable-side connector to return its original position in the cradle housing.

摘要： A universal joint includes a yoke having a fitting portion for fitting a shaft. The fitting portion has first and second tabs opposed to each other to form a U shape. A fixing mechanism including a bolt passing through respective insertion holes in the first and second tabs and a nut screwed onto the bolt on a fastening axis fastens and fixes the shaft between the first and second tabs. A nut holding member fixed to the second tab has an engaging piece. The engaging piece causes the nut, which has not been screwed onto the bolt, to be held on the fastening axis. A cover held by the nut holding member covers at least the engaging piece around the nut.

Each light receiving element is for receiving light reflected from an optical medium compliant with a different one of the standards and output a signal responsive to the received light. The amplifier circuit is for amplifying a signal derived from output of the light receiving elements. The signal amplified by the amplifier circuit is derived by subtracting an output signal of one of the light receiving elements that receives light from the optical medium from an output signal of the other light receiving elements.

摘要： An engine (drive force) control apparatus for a motorcycle that prevents a change in vehicle behavior by noise or the like. A control CPU electronically controls injection and ignition of fuel and a throttle valve. An abnormality detecting portion detects an abnormality of the engine control apparatus by a predetermined abnormality detecting period. When the abnormality is detected, primary abnormality processing of the engine control apparatus is executed. When the abnormality is not detected, primary abnormality processing is released and an electronic control at normal time of the engine control apparatus is executed. When an abnormality detecting signal detected by the abnormality detecting portion continues even an elapse of a predetermined abnormality determining time period, primary abnormality processing is shifted to secondary abnormality processing.

摘要： An Ni—Ti—Nb based multiple phase alloy consists of a combined phase which comprises a phase for the hydrogen permeability and a phase for the resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. The alloy has a composition satisfying the formula: NixTiyNb(100-x-y) in which x=25˜45 mol % and y=25˜55 mol %. A metal membrane for hydrogen separation-purification is prepared using the alloy material. The alloy material is prepared by blending Ni, Ti and Nb and melting the blend. The metal membrane permits the hydrogen separation-purification and thus the resulting purified hydrogen gas can be used as a fuel and can be applied to fields of production of semiconductors.

摘要： A forged terminal body receives a resin knob assembled without pre-positioning. Anti-slip projections on the terminal body penetrate the knob during assembly to resist torque during connection. The anti-slip projections have asymmetric triangular cross sections with a steeper side of the triangle facing in the tightening direction. In one embodiment of the invention, the anti-slip projections are prismatic projections radially arranged on a collar. In a second embodiment of the invention, the anti-slip projections extend from the collar along a terminal body upon which the resin knob is press fitted.

Each of the phase coils is divided to a plurality of parallel coils having the same phase and each of the parallel coils is connected to one of the switching transistors.

The specific resistance of the positive brush is lower than the specific resistance of the negative brush to enable the voltage drop at the brushes to be decreased and motor efficiency to be increased without increasing commutator wearing speed. The biasing force provided by the spring biasing the positive brush is lower than the biasing force provided by the spring biasing the negative brush.
