    摘要: A vehicular slide door apparatus includes a slide door that is movable along a lengthwise direction of the vehicle body for opening and closing an opening area formed in the lateral side of the vehicle body, a rail secured to the lateral side of the vehicle body to extend in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle body, and a driving device for moving the slide door. The rail possesses first and second side walls and a roller operatively connected to the slide door is slidably fitted in the rail. A guide pipe extends along the rail and is secured to a surface of one of the side walls of the rail to strengthen the rail. A cable passes through the guide pipe in a movable manner and includes one end connected to the driving device and an opposite end connected to the slide door.

    摘要: A fuel pump apparatus disposed within a fuel tank which may be employed in automotive vehicles is disclosed. The fuel pump apparatus includes a fuel pump, a filter, and a conductive member. The fuel pump is disposed within a conductive pump housing. The filter includes a filter element and a conductive filter casing. The filter element removes particles contained in fuel which is discharged from the fuel pump and returned to the fuel tank. The conductive member electrically connects between the pump housing and the filter casing for dissipating electrostatic charges generated by the friction between the filter element and the fuel passing through the filter element.

    摘要: Fuel passes through a fuel filter from the outer layer of the fuel filter toward the inner layer of the fuel filter. Large debris is arrested in the outer layer made of nonwoven fabric, and small debris is arrested in the inner layer made of filter paper, so that plugging is prevented. The fuel filter is inserted between a fuel pump and a sub-tank. The fuel pump is supported by the fuel filter via both a suction pipe and a fixing section. Vibration generated in the fuel pump is absorbed by the fuel filter which has sufficient thickness, so that the vibration is not transferred to the sub-tank. Thus, filtering performance and lifespan of the fuel filter are easily secured while decreasing vibration transfer.

    摘要: A door control device is adapted to smoothly shift the mode of operation to the door closer operation at the time the door is being moved by pushing in the door closing condition, without requiring a large size motor and without the need for increasing the strength of the drive medium. The door control device includes a closer for shifting a slide door from the half door condition to the fully closed condition, and a clutch mechanism which is interposed in a power transmission system between the slide door and a motor for driving the slide door. If the slide door is electrically driven, a clutch of the clutch mechanism is rendered operational to move the slide door and the closer operation is started after the sliding operation. The door control device further includes a pole switch which detects the condition of the slide door and a junction switch which establishes the connection when the condition of the slide door is between a condition right before the half door condition and the fully closed condition, and effects the supply of electricity to the closer. If the junction switch is connected in the midst of the closing operation of the slide door, the closer operation is started and then the motor is stopped when the slide door is moved a given distance.

    摘要: To provide a bass-reflex speaker assembly having superior water resistance and which can be mounted on a motorcycle, while not being subjected to the influence of negative pressure due to wind during travel and which is capable of maintaining superior sound quality. A resonant duct projects downwards at an incline at a bottom surface of a speaker enclosure. It is therefore difficult for rain water to enter because the duct opens downwards and water that may enter temporarily can be easily discharged from the same duct. Furthermore, when speakers are positioned within the cowling of the motorcycle, negative pressure occurring due to wind when the vehicle is travelling acts not only on the front surfaces of paper cones of the speakers, but also on the rear surfaces via the ducts. Therefore, superior sound quality can be maintained without the influence of negative pressure being incurred and a bass-reflex speaker assembly suited to motorcycles is therefore possible.
