摘要: A compressor has suction reed valves each of which includes a fixation portion fixed to the valve base plate, a basal portion that extends from the fixation portion and is separable from the plate, and a valve flap extending from the basal portion toward the distal end to selectively open and close the suction port. Each suction port has a shape elongated in the width direction, which is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The width of the basal portion is greater than that of the suction port. Each valve flap includes an opening-closing portion facing the corresponding suction port and stoppers, which project from the ends in the width direction. The side edges in the width direction are continuous from the stoppers to the basal portion to gradually approach the suction port. The cylinder block has pairs of recessed retainers. The stoppers contact the retainers.

摘要: A device for generating a sterilizing gas includes a methanol gas generation device (11) for vaporizing methanol to generate a methanol gas, a tubular part (12) and a catalyst section (13). The tubular section (12) is arranged on top of the methanol gas generation device (11) to provide a flow path for upwardly directing the methanol gas generated by the methanol gas generation device by natural convection. The tubular section also operates to mix the methanol gas with a predetermined proportion of air. The catalyst section (13) is arranged on top of the tubular section (12) for turning the methanol gas mixed with the air at the predetermined proportion in the tubular section (12) into radicals by a catalyzed reaction. The catalyst section (13) is formed by a turn-into-radical reaction catalyst layer (30) obtained on forming a thin metal sheet (35a) to a honeycomb structure.

摘要: The present invention provides a production process for obtaining a pad base for endermism capable of administering a drug in the skin without vibration. One side end of a thin metal wire is immersed in a solution containing a synthetic resin raw material in a lengthwise direction, the synthetic resin raw material solution adheres to a periphery of the thin metal wire, the synthetic resin raw material solution is hardened and then the thin metal wire is pulled out. The resulting minute needle is a hollow tubular body and the outer wall thereof is thickened toward the bottom. The minute needle is installed upright on the skin side of a patch base, and a drug in the hollow portion of the minute needle is injected in the skin and can be provided for endermism.

摘要: According to a conventional MicroPatch method, a drug is administrated by stinging the skin with a solid-core needle, and broadening a gap between the needle and the skin by vibration with a vibrator. Consequently, the object of the present invention is to provide a pad base for endermism capable of administrating a drug in the skin without vibration, and to provide a production process capable of easily obtaining the pad base. One side end of the thin metal wire is immersed in a solution containing a synthetic resin raw material in a lengthwise direction, the synthetic resin raw material solution adheres to a periphery of the thin metal wire, the synthetic resin raw material solution is hardened and then the thin metal wire is pulled out. There is obtained the minute needle 1 which is installed upright on the skin side of a patch base 2, wherein the minute needle is a hollow tubular body and the outer wall thereof is thickened toward the bottom. A drug in the hollow portion 3 of the minute needle 1 is injected in the skin and can be provided for endermism. Further, since the minute needle 1 spreads and is thickened toward the bottom, it hardly fractures.

摘要: A multi-beam scanning device is provided with a light source that emits a plurality of light beams, a polygonal mirror that deflects the light beams emitted by the light source to scan, and an optical system that converges the deflected light beams on a plurality of objects to be scanned. The optical system includes an optical path turning system that turns optical paths of the deflected light beams, respectively. The optical path turning system is constructed such that optical path lengths of the optical path of the deflected light beams are the same, and one of the optical paths directed to an object located farthest from the polygonal mirror consists of two linear paths and one turning portion at which a beam is deflected.

摘要: A multi-beam scanning optical system is provided with a light source unit, polygonal mirror, and an f&thgr; lens. The f&thgr; lens includes a first lens that converges the beams mainly in the main scanning direction, and a second lens that converges the beams mainly in the auxiliary scanning direction. The first and second lenses are made of different materials. Further, one of the first and second lenses is formed integrally with the other using a mold such that the first and second lenses constitute a composite lens unit.

摘要: A method simultaneously drives a plurality of lines of a display employing an antiferroelectric liquid crystal material. The polarity of the start of a waveform applied to a first one of the simultaneously selected lines is opposite to the polarity of the starts of waveforms applied to the other simultaneously selected lines. Each select period is divided into n sections. A data waveform applied to any one of data electrodes (column electrodes) of the display in synchronization with the select waveforms is determined according to column vectors of a unit matrix of n rows by n columns. The sign of a first one of the n column vectors is inverted. A maximum among voltages applied to pixels of the display must be sufficiently larger than the threshold of the ferroelectric liquid crystal material. The absolute value of the threshold is set between the sum of and the difference between the absolute values of the select and data waveforms.
