摘要： An upright generally cylindrical casing forms a gas passageway communicating with the exhaust of a flue for receiving its heated exhaust gases. A burner, axially mounted below the casing in the heated gas stream, heats the gases and refractory material contained by the casing to a combustion temperature. Baffles in the casing direct the heated gases toward refractory vanes contained by the casing. Additional air is admitted to the depending end of the casing to support combustion of unburned hydrocarbons.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for detecting, classifying and tracking road users on frames of video data are provided. An object detection unit identifies an object in a frame of the video data. A pre-filtering unit determines whether the identifier associated to an object corresponds to another identifier associated to the same object in the same frame of the video data when the identifiers overlap. A tracking unit matches the identified object to a corresponding object in another frame of the video data, such that a path of the sequence of matched objects is tracked throughout the frames of the video data. A scenario unit determines a safety indicator that is a function of the risk indicators indicating interactions between road users.

摘要： A novel broadly tunable optical parametric oscillator is described for use in numerous applications including multi-photon microscopy. The optical parametric oscillator includes at least one sub-picosecond laser pump source configured to output a pump signal having a wavelength of about 650 nm or less and at least one type II optical parametric oscillator in optical communication with the pump source and configured to generate a single widely tunable pulsed optical signal. In one application, an optical system is in optical communication with the optical parametric oscillator and configured to direct at least a portion of the optical signal to a specimen, and at least one analyzing device is configured to receive a signal from the specimen in response to the optical signal.

This direct thermal media together with the optical registration system and image processing unit comprise an operative system in that the design of the thermal media, the optical registration system and image processing unit used to control printing are optimized for use with each other. This system may be utilized, for example, in color thermal printers for documents, receipts, tags, tickets or labels.

The second side comprises an abrasive surface that is suitable for cleaning the top surface of a tongue within an oral cavity. The second side has a width and a length, the smallest of which is at least 1.6 times the product thickness. The product does not include a handle and the product does not include a combination of a soft confectionery with a hard confectionery. In some embodiments the first side is smooth, and may be domed shaped and generally fit the roof of the mouth. The abrasive surface may be provided by 1) a formed, uneven surface, 2) including abrasive particles in the composition making up the second surface, or 3) a combination of a formed, uneven surface and abrasive particles. The confectionery product may be a hard confectionery, but may also be a chewing gum product.

摘要： A product including two or more plies with each ply including one absorbent layer and a second opposing fluid impervious layer. The two plies are arranged such that the fluid impervious layers face each other and are positioned at the inside of the two-ply product. The two plies are bonded on two or three sides to form a sleeve or a pocket, such that a hand can be inserted between the two plies and positioned in contact with one or both fluid impervious layers. In this manner, the product is absorbent on both sides, and can be utilized on both sides while preventing hand contact with the material absorbed or picked up by the product.
