Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a geosynthetic wicking fabric for transporting water from beneath pavement structures to reduce or prevent damaged caused by frost heave and thaw. Further, the present invention is directed to a wicking drainage system employing the wicking fabric.
Abstract:
The present invention provides novel compositions of human IgG2 antibodies comprising a chelating agent. The present invention also provides novel antibody compositions that exhibit improved chemical and/or physical stability. Also provided are methods of treating diseases and conditions with compositions of human IgG2 antibodies, including inflammatory diseases and neoplasia disorders.
Abstract:
Coil sensitivity of a receive coil to a gradient null location is measured and, from the measurements, a coil calibration value is determined and used to modify the MR data acquired with that receive coil to reduce the adverse effects of gradient nulling on MR images. Coil sensitivity values are determined for each coil of a coil array and the data for each coil is respectively weighted. An image that is substantially free of gradient null artifacts or ghosting is then reconstructed from the weighted data.
Abstract:
A woven pool cover fabric comprises a thermoplastic warp yarn and a thermoplastic fibrillated weft filling yarn, providing at least 95% shade. A woven swimming pool cover having polyolefin warp yarns and fibrillated polyolefin weft yarns is lightweight, water permeable, and provides at least % shade, thus preventing algae growth and debris accumulation in the pool, as well as facilitating ease of installation and removal of the cover.
Abstract:
A drill bit extension for use in, for example, tightening solar panel clamps or other situations in which a user traditionally would be required to kneel, bend, or otherwise extend to reach a bolt or other fastener to be tightened or loosened. The drill bit extension has a drill adapter end and a drill bit adapter end. A body extends between the two ends and houses a driveline. The body has a head that (or the body and head can be separate) that provides an angled extension for the drill bit adapter. Preferably the angle is 22.5 degrees, with the drill bit adapter extending at ninety degrees from the head.
Abstract:
An apparatus for analyzing free flight of a body including an inertial measurement unit having at least one accelerometer continuously measuring three orthogonal axes of acceleration and outputting data representative thereof and a processing unit operably receiving the data and determining three components of an angular velocity of the body during free flight.
Abstract:
Provided are systems, methods and computer programs for generating comparison information for all course books, regardless of whether or not the books are required or optional, for multi-course student schedules. Also provided are systems, methods and computer programs for transacting sales between sellers and buyers of course books and online products, wherein the sellers and buyers may be online or offline and the online products may have a standardized product identification number.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method is disclosed that includes instructing a human player to perform a plurality of different actions in a determined order with a physical basketball, including actions of bouncing the physical basketball, and obtaining, with one or more electronic sensors, data that characterizes motion of the physical basketball being handled by the human player who is performing the instructed actions at a location. The method also includes communicating the data from the sensors to a console videogame system that is proximate to the location, and graphically representing, in a videogame displayed on a display device, performance by the human player, the performance being affected by the captured data, the representation of performance by the human player being compared against a standard of performance.
Abstract:
An apparatus for analyzing movement of equipment. The apparatus includes an inertial measurement unit continuously measuring six rigid body degrees of freedom of the equipment and outputting data representative thereof, wherein the inertial measurement unit defines a planar substrate having a single common plane. The inertial measurement unit further includes at least one angular rate gyro and at least one accelerometer sufficient to measure the six rigid body degrees of freedom and each being mounted on the single common plane. The apparatus further includes a processing unit determining the acceleration of the mass center of the equipment, the angular velocity and the angular acceleration of the equipment through a single derivative operation.
