A battery pack includes a battery pack housing accommodating at least one battery cell and a power tool interface electrically connected to the at least one battery cell within the battery pack housing. The power tool interface is configured to be physically and electrically connected to and disconnected from the battery pack interface of the power tool. A communicator is attached to or accommodated within the battery pack housing. The communicator is configured to wirelessly communicate with an external device.
Abstract:
A dust collector in one aspect of the present invention comprises a dust collection portion, a communication portion, and an interlock operation control portion. When the communication portion receives an interlock command transmitted from an electric working machine, the interlock operation control portion makes the dust collection portion operate interlocking with the electric working machine. The interlock operation control portion includes a storage portion, in which identification information specific to the electric working machine with which the dust collection portion is to be made to perform the interlock operation is stored.
Abstract:
A communication adapter in one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of outer surfaces comprising at least two outer surfaces, an interface device, an antenna, and a transmission device. The interface device is provided at at least one outer surface of the at least two outer surfaces and electrically coupled to an electric working machine through the at least one outer surface. The antenna is provided at another at least one outer surface, which is different from the at least one outer surface, among the plurality of outer surfaces, and configured to be capable of transmitting a radio wave for wireless communication with a communication device other than the electric working machine from the another at least one outer surface.
Abstract:
A charger charges a rechargeable battery pack of a cordless power tool. The charger includes at least one wall that at least partially defines a battery pack receiving space for the battery pack, a first guide extending away from the at least one wall, and a second guide extending away from the at least one wall and spaced from the first guide. The at least one wall, the first guide and the second guide are configured to guide the battery pack to a prescribed position relative to the at least one wall. The first guide and the second guide each include a portion inclined relative to the insertion direction by an angle of inclination such that the distance between the inclined portion of the first guide and the inclined portion of the second guide decreases in the insertion direction.
Abstract:
An electric power tool system comprises a tool main body, a battery pack detachably attached to the tool main body, and a first charger that charges the battery pack. The first charger comprises a rechargeable battery that supplies current to at least one rechargeable battery of the battery pack. The at least one rechargeable battery of the first charger preferably has a larger charge storage capacity than the at least one rechargeable battery of the battery pack.
Abstract:
A charge control device of one example of the present invention comprises a temperature detection unit, a storage unit, and an upper limit setting unit. The storage unit stores a reference current characteristic and at least one of a first current characteristic and a second current characteristic as a charging current characteristic, and stores a reference voltage characteristic and at least one of a first voltage characteristic and a second voltage characteristic as a charging voltage characteristic. The upper limit setting unit selects a characteristic used to set upper limits of a charging current and a charging voltage to the battery from among a plurality of the charging current characteristics and a plurality of the charging voltage characteristics stored in the storage unit.
Abstract:
A dust collector interlocking system includes a transmitter provided in the electric power tool and capable of transmitting a radio signal, and a receiver provided in the suction hose of the dust collector and capable of receiving the radio signal from the transmitter of the electric power tool. The transmitter transmits a drive signal of the electric power tool, and the receiver receives the drive signal of the electric power tool from the transmitter to turn on a start switch of the dust collector.
Abstract:
An adapter connects a plurality of first battery packs, each having a nominal voltage of about 18-36 volts, in series to an power tool having a rated voltage that is 36 volts or higher. The power tool includes a second battery interface configured to removably attach a second battery pack. The adapter includes a plurality of first battery interfaces configured to removably attach the plurality of first battery packs and having a different physical configuration than the second battery interface. A connector of the adapter is configured to be removably attached to the second battery interface. A plurality of visual indicators is disposed on the adapter such that they have the same or substantially the same illumination direction and they visually indicate at least a level of charge of each of the first battery packs attached to the adapter.
Abstract:
A measurement system according to one aspect of the present invention includes a battery pack and at least one type of connected device to which the pack is connected. The pack includes a first detection device detecting a predetermined physical quantity in the pack and having a predetermined measurement range. The connected device includes a second detection device detecting a physical quantity the same as the predetermined physical quantity and having a measurement range different from the range of the first detection device. One of the pack and the connected device includes a receiving device and a measurement processing device that performs a predetermined measurement process by using one of: a detection-value-related information received by the receiving device; and a detection result by one device of the first detection device and the second detection device, the one device being provided in one of the pack and the connected device.
Abstract:
