摘要: A refrigerant conveying hose, being wholly made of a synthetic resin, is formed of an inner tube forming an inner side layer, an intermediate layer on the outer periphery surface of the inner tube, a fiber reinforced layer on the outer periphery surface of the intermediate layer and an outer tube forming the outer covering layer. The inner layer is formed of any one of (1) an thermoplastic resin alloyed of a polyamide resin and an olefin based elastomer, (2) an thermoplastic resin alloyed of a copolymer of a polyamide resin and an olefin based elastomer, (3) an thermoplastic resin alloyed of a polyamide resin and an urethane based elastomer and (4) an thermoplastic resin alloyed of a copolymer of a polyamide resin and an urethane based elastomer, the intermediate layer is formed of an thermoplastic resin material alloyed of a polypropylene (PP) and a isobutylene-isoprene rubber (IIR), an adhesive for bonding the inner tube and the intermediate layer is formed of a specific resin based adhesive, the outer tube is formed of an thermoplastic resin material alloyed of a polypropylene (PP) and an ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM), and the resulting hose is molded out thereof.

摘要: Metal is electrolytically precipitated on a cathode plate except for a portion thereof. The non-precipitated portion enables easy peeling of the precipitated metal from the cathode plate. The ceramic coating film is formed on the non-precipitated portion and prevents intrusion of electrolytic acid between the ceramic coating film and the cathode plate. The life of the coating is prolonged. The polishing of the cathode plate can be automatized.

摘要: A direct-coupling control method capable of improving fuel efficiency by performing slip direct-coupling control of a torque converter, in which a driving force transmission of an automatic transmission is operated under an approximate direct-coupling condition that permits slight slippage of the torque converter, in a predetermined operating range of the automatic transmission such as a low speed range thereof, and capable of positively detecting and preventing direct-coupling vibration caused by deterioration of hydraulic oil or the like. In the slip direct-coupling control, an occurrence of direct-coupling vibration is detected when a variation of a slip amount changing beyond predetermined upper and lower limit values is found a predetermined number of times during a predetermined period of time, or when a variation in the rotational rate of the output shaft of the torque converter still continues even after the slip direct-coupling control is interrupted for the reason that the rotational rate has varied beyond a permissible range. Upon detection of the direct-coupling vibration, the slip direct-coupling control is inhibited.

摘要: A wholly aromatic polyester film, (A) which is made of a wholly aromatic polyester consisting essentially of the following recurring units I and II ##STR1## wherein the aromatic ring may be optionally substituted with at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a halogen atom and a phenyl group, said wholly aromatic polyetser comprising 10 to 90 mol % of the recurring unit I and 90 to 10 mol % of the recurring unti II, being capable of forming an optically anisotropic melt phase, and having a melt strength at a temperature 20.degree. C. higher than its transition temperature to liquid crystal of at least 2.0 g/mm.sup.2 ; (B) said film having an oxygen permeability of not more than 1.0 cc. 20 .mu./m.sup.2. day. atm at a temperature 20.degree. C. and a relative humidity 65%; and (C) said film having thermal shrinkages both in the machine direction and in a direction perpendicular thereto of not more than 1% at a temperature 250.degree. C. Said wholly aromatic polyester film can be produced by melt-extruding a wholly aromatic polyester to form into a film under conditions that a shear rate applied to the wholly aromatic polyester in a molten state at the exit of the molding die is not less than 500 sec.sup.-1.
