Abstract:
The present invention relates to composite materials made of at least one composite layer of a polyurethane and of a second composite layer which is directly bonded to the first layer and which consists of a thermoplastic material that is different from the polyurethane of layer A). The polyurethane material of layer A) is characterized by a residual content of free reaction components containing ether groups of no more than 400 ppm, and preferably of no more than 100 ppm. The invention also relates to a process for the production of these composite materials and to a method of their use as materials in motor vehicles.
Abstract:
Novel powders useful in the slush molding process are produced by reacting an emulsion of either an isocyanate or an isocyanate reactive material with either an isocyanate reactive material or an isocyanate, depending upon the nature of the component used to make the emulsion in the presence of an at least partially blocked isocyanate and an organic carrier. The final reaction product is subsequently removed from the carrier.
Abstract:
A dishwasher includes a housing having a washing chamber with an access opening. An access door is operable to close the access opening in a fluid tight manner. A movable loading unit is disposable in the washing chamber and is at least partially removable from the washing chamber through the access opening. The loading unit includes an illumination device.
Abstract:
A composite member for a vehicle body a method for manufacturing such a composite member, in particular, for a vehicle roof, with a fiber-free outer skin (12) and a fiber-reinforced support layer (16), which is deposited at the inner side of the outer skin in order to support the outer skin. The side of the support layer (16) that faces away from the outer skin (12) is provided with a fiber-reinforced reinforcing layer (18) for reinforcing the support layer. The reinforcing layer has a higher fiber concentration than the support layer.
Abstract:
Isocyanate mixtures comprising: (a) NCO prepolymers having an NCO content of 1.5 to 18 wt. %; and (b) 1 to 40 wt. % of monomeric 2,2′-diisocyanatodiphenylmethane, based on the isocyanate mixture; wherein the isocyanate mixture has a total NCO content of from 2 to 22 wt. %; polyisocyanate polyaddition products prepared therefrom; and methods of making the same.
Abstract:
An insert for a rack of a dishwasher includes a bowl holder having a frustoconical shape and a contact rib. The contact rib has an exterior side and a sawtooth profile disposed on the exterior side.
Abstract:
A dishwasher includes a tub, a hinged door for closing the tub, a sealing gasket disposed between the tub and the door, a device control unit, a closing plate connected to the tub and movable by a motor, a latching element disposed on the door, and a closing tab disposed on the closing plate for engaging with the latching element for closing the door and enabling the device control unit to partially open the door. The closing plate is movable into first and second positions to bring the door into respective first and second partially open positions with respective first and second gap widths. The second gap width is larger than the first gap width.
Abstract:
A method for carrying out a dishwashing cycle in a household dishwasher includes performing a wash step and dispensing an amount of a combination product from a dispenser during the wash step. The combination product includes a rinse agent and a cleaning agent. The method also includes performing a rinse step and dispensing an amount of the combination product from the dispenser during the rinse step.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the production of fibre-reinforced composite components in which an outer film is bonded with a layer containing fibre- reinforced polyurethane, characterised in that a) first an elastic intermediate layer which has a modulus of elasticity of 0.5 MPa to 50 MPa and a thickness of 0.3 mm to 6 mm, is applied to the outer film which has a thickness in the range of 0.2 mm to 5 mm, and then b) at least one other layer is applied to the back of the intermediate layer, at least one layer containing fibre-reinforced polyurethane being applied.
Abstract:
An electric plug includes a plug housing, at least two incorporated plug-in contacts that are to be inserted into corresponding jacks of an outlet, and a cable feeder. A manually actuated ejection mechanism encompassing a push-out device is disposed in the plug housing. The push-out device cooperates with a spring in such a way that the spring is biased in the plugged-in state of the plug in order to allow the plug to be automatically removed from the outlet by means of the push-out device when the ejection mechanism is actuated. In order to actuate the ejection mechanism, the same is automatically triggered by pulling on the cable, the tensile force being effective on a strain relief device for the cable, which is located in the plug housing and cooperates with triggering device for actuating the spring-biased push-out device.
