There is provided an insecticide transpiration apparatus capable of transpiring insecticide at room temperature. The apparatus includes an apparatus main body having a recipient recess capable of accommodating an insecticide cartridge, an insecticide cartridge rotatably supported in the recipient recess, a driving means which is composed of a motor connected to a rotation support shaft of the insecticide cartridge and an electric source and which is contained in the apparatus main body, and a cover pivoted to the apparatus main body so as to cover the insecticide cartridge in the recipient recess, wherein the insecticide cartridge includes an annular hollow structure which accommodates granular insecticide-impregnated bodies and which has openings in an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface thereof, a core portion situated at the center of the hollow structure and connected to the rotation support shaft, a plurality of spoke portions connecting the core portion and the hollow structure, and blade portions integrally formed with the hollow structure so as to extend from the inner peripheral surface toward the center thereof and adapted to promote passing of air from the inner peripheral surface to the outer peripheral surface of the hollow structure.

A magnetic bearing device has an electromagnet for levitating an object under electromagnetic forces, a displacement sensor for detecting the displacement of the levitated object, a controller for supplying a signal to the displacement sensor through a cable and a current to the electromagnet through a cable, and a protective plate of nonmagnetic metal material disposed between the displacement sensor and the levitated object. The controller includes a levitation control system having a noise removing filter for preventing an abnormal signal caused by the protective plate from being applied to the displacement sensor.

A wood treating method and apparatus whereby a wood which is thin or bent, such as a soft wood or wood removed during growth or a wood from thinning, is strengthened, straightened and molded in any desired shape, wherein after the wood is heated and softened in a high temperature high pressure atmosphere, mechanical compressive forces are applied to the wood to minimize the voids in the wood; thus, the wood is hardened, strengthened and the bent wood is corrected, making it possible to form the wood in any desired shape without lumbering the same.

One objective of the present invention is to provide an electronic component mounting system and an electronic component mounting method that can prevent a mounting defect due to a positioning error in the direction of the thickness of a substrate, and that can deliver a specific mounting quality. According to an electronic component mounting system, which is constituted by coupling a plurality of apparatuses used for mounting electronic components, the height measurement device 22 of a printing inspection apparatus measures the heights at height measurement points, designated on the upper face of a substrate, and outputs the measurement results as substrate height data. Then, once the substrate has been delivered to an electronic component placing apparatus, the substrate height measurement apparatus again measures the height of the substrate at specific height measurement points to obtain substrate height correction data, and based on the initial substrate height data and the substrate height correction data, updates a control parameter for controlling the component placing operation performed by a loading head. In this manner, discrepancies in the positions of the heights of individual substrates can be accurately corrected, and mounting defects due to positioning errors in the direction of the heights of the substrates can be prevented.
