    摘要: When encoding an audio signal, it is possible to efficiently encode the audio signal while maintaining high register signal components, and prevent deterioration of sound quality of decoded signal. A digital audio signal is divided into a plurality of frequency bands. The digital audio signal having been divided into each band is function-approximated for each divided band. Further, parameters of function having been function-approximated are encoded. When performing decoding process, parameters of the function of each band are used to perform function interpolation, synthesize the function-interpolated signal of each band interpolated, and decode the signal. Thus, when function-approximating each band, by suitably setting the function equation, it is possible to perform an encoding process while maintaining the high register components and perform a compression-coding process which enables reproduction with very good sound quality.

    摘要: A control system is for accelerating stabilization of a chaotic state of a controlled system into a desired periodic state. In the control system, the SOGY algorithm is extended to permit selection of a region on a chaotic attractor as a target, so that the SOGY algorithm can be successfully combined with the OGY algorithm for the purpose of stabilization of the controlled system in the periodic state. Also, the method of nonlinear prediction is introduced so as to secure the effectiveness of the SOGY algorithm. Further, an uncertainty of prediction is taken into consideration so as to eliminate unnecessary control and to improve the effectiveness of the SOGY algorithm.

    摘要: In order to control an apparatus, such as a rolling mill, a control device may use a pre-set operation pattern to generate a preset command signal, which is then modified. That first modification may be part of a feedback loop in dependence on the variation of a variable operation device of the apparatus, on a plurality of pre-set signals may be combined by fuzzy logic. Then the relationship between the modified pre-set command signal and the variation of the variable operation device is investigated to generate a compensation signal which is used to modify further the pre-set command signal. In a feedback loop, that further modification may compensate for changes in the operating point of the loop, due to changes in the apparatus being controlled. In a fuzzy logic arrangement, the compensation signal may be a further control pattern developed by the control device itself, which is combined with the pre-set patterns by fuzzy logic. The control device may be in the form of a series of modules.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method and a system for controlling strip thickness in rolling mill, especially adapted in the case where material is rolled by a tandem rolling mill. According to the present invention, the change in the strip thickness from one sampling epoch to another is calculated on the basis of two sampling values, i.e. strip thickness and strip thickness deviation, at the entrance side of a mill stand; the press-down speed and the workpiece tension are determined according to such a condition as to minimize the calculated change during the sampling period; and the press-down speed and the interstand tension are regulated by the thus determined mill speed and tension when a certain portion of the strip reaches the stand bite of the next mill stand.

    摘要: Gage control apparatus and methods for tandem rolling mills are disclosed which are based on the low of constancy of mass flow. The apparatus and methods are attained by the discovery of the fact that the forward slip ratio of a mill stand varies as a linear function of the reduction ratio particularly when a plate material is rolled under relatively low tension. A ratio between thicknesses of the plate at the output and input sides of a particular stand of the tandem rolling mill and a ratio between circumferential speeds of rolls of the adjacent stands are used to calculate a thickness of the plate at the ouput or input side of each of the stands other than the particular stand. Each of the stands other than the particular stand is adjusted in its roll gap in accordance with a deviation of the calculated thickness from a desired thickness so as to cancel the deviation.
