    摘要: There is provided a sliding bearing, which can continuously enhance conformability even when deformation by high oil film pressure in the vicinity of a central part of the sliding bearing occurs. The sliding bearing includes crownings which are each formed in an inclined shape toward an outer peripheral surface from an inner peripheral surface, at end parts in an axial direction, of an inner peripheral surface of a sliding bearing, so that even when the region in the vicinity of the central part of the sliding bearing 1 receives the oil film pressure and deforms in the recessed shape so as for both the end parts in the axial direction to locally contact a shaft, conformability can be enhanced not only at an early stage of use of the sliding bearing but also continuously by relief by the crownings.

    摘要: A half plain bearing which can minimize lubricant leakage while retaining a crush relief function, comprising: grooved portions formed circumferentially on an inner surface of the half plain bearing; protrusions of the grooved portions in a secondary loaded portion being liable to running-in wear caused by contact with a shaft. Consequently, the protrusions undergo running-in wear through contact with the rotating shaft at an early stage. The worn protrusions serve the same purpose as crush reliefs, providing a crush relief function even though no crush relief is formed. This makes it possible to minimize lubricant leakage.

    摘要: A rear differential in a four-wheel drive vehicle includes a left and right clutches adapted to distribute a driving force transmitted from front wheels through a propeller shaft to left and right rear wheels. If the engagement of the left and right clutches is released, only the front wheels are driven and in this manner, the vehicle is brought into a front wheel-drive state. If the left and right clutches are brought into their engaged states, both of the front wheels and the rear wheels are driven and in this manner, the vehicle is brought into a four-wheel drive state. By changing the engagement forces of the left and right clutches, different driving forces can be distributed to the left and right rear wheels. In addition, when a driver operates a differential lock switch, the left and right clutches, are brought into their engaged states with the maximum engagement force, thereby integrally coupling the propeller shaft to the left and right rear wheels to provide a differential-locked state. Thus, a differential lock mechanism can be provided to the differential in a simple structure.

    摘要: In a power transmitting system, a clutch drive shaft driven through bevel gears and by an input shaft is laterally extensive and left and right electromagnetic clutches are disposed between opposite ends of the clutch drive shaft and left and right output shafts, respectively. A clutch body heated during the transmission of a power is disposed at a laterally outer location of the system to provide enhanced heat-radiatability, and an annular solenoid is disposed inside the clutch body. A bearing for supporting each of the opposite ends of the clutch drive shaft is disposed radially inside the solenoid. Thus, the lateral dimension of the power transmitting system is reduced.

    摘要: A clutch plate is supported by a clutch housing which rotates in unison with an input shaft. Another clutch plate is supported by a clutch hub which rotates in unison with an output shaft. These clutch plates are disposed adjacent each other and are pressed and engaged with each other by a clutch piston through a pressure plate. A hydraulic pump is driven by the pressure plate through a pump driving member fitted to an outer periphery of the output shaft. Lubricating oil supplied from a lubricating oil port is conducted to the clutch plates through a lubricating oil passage formed between an outer periphery of the output shaft and an inner periphery of the pump driving member. The lubricating oil passage for conducting the lubricating oil to frictional engagement elements of the hydraulic clutch is formed outside the rotatable shaft, thereby reducing the fabricating cost of the apparatus.
