摘要: A vehicle brake system is provided with a brake ECU serving as controlled hydraulic brake force control for executing a controlled hydraulic brake force control to decrease the rotational speed of an electric motor when at least both of a regenerative brake force and a controlled hydraulic brake force are being applied. The brake ECU decreases the rotational speed of the electric motor when the gradient of a target controlled hydraulic brake force being a controlled hydraulic pressure command value given to a hydraulic brake device is downhill or is not present. Thus, the pressured fluid supplied from a pump driven by the electric motor to be supplied to wheel cylinders of a vehicle is decreased to enhance the efficiency in utilizing the regenerative energy which an electric motor for driving the vehicle has in dependence on the stepping state of a brake pedal.

摘要: A control unit of a brake apparatus includes a compensation braking force controlling device for controlling a compensation braking force in response to an operation of a brake operating member so that a characteristic of a total braking force relative to the operation of the brake operating member agrees with a predetermined target characteristic. The total braking force is a sum of the compensation braking force containing a pressurizing hydraulic braking force based upon at least the pressurization and a basic hydraulic pressure braking force based upon the basic hydraulic pressure. The compensation braking force controlling device includes: a judging device for judging whether the vehicle has stopped, and a limiting device for limiting the amount of pressurization via a pressure control valve when the judging device determines that the vehicle has stopped.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to minimize any sensation of inadequate firmness and large changes in deceleration rate with respect to a change in a brake operation force when the force exceeds a boost limit point. A first correlation S1 when a brake operation force increases and a second correlation S2 after hysteresis is applied at the time of a decrease in the brake operation force are taken as relationships between a brake operation force F and a wheel cylinder pressure PWC in a state wherein an assist hydraulic pressure PA is not applied. An assist hydraulic pressure control section controls the assist hydraulic pressure PA so that when a brake operation force that exceeds a boost limit point T1 is applied, the assist hydraulic pressure PA is added, hysteresis is applied when the brake operation force decreases, the assist hydraulic pressure PA decreases, and the relationship between the wheel cylinder pressure PWC and the brake operation force F when the assist hydraulic pressure PA decreases to zero becomes the second correlation S2.

摘要: A braking apparatus for a vehicle includes a hydraulic brake apparatus generating a basic hydraulic pressure so that a basic hydraulic braking force is generated at wheels, the hydraulic brake apparatus generating a controlled hydraulic pressure so that a controlled hydraulic braking force is generated at the wheels, a regenerative brake apparatus causing a regenerative braking force to be generated at any of the wheels, and braking force replacement controlling means for gradually replacing the regenerative braking force with the controlled hydraulic braking force while braking during which at least the regenerative braking force is applied for a purpose of achieving a braking force replacement control to ensure a total braking force required for the wheels by decreasing the regenerative braking force at a gradient within a predetermined range and by increasing the controlled hydraulic braking force in response to the decrease of the regenerative braking force.

摘要: In a vehicle brake device, a port is provided at a hydraulic chamber of a master cylinder and communicates with a reservoir tank. A piston movable in the hydraulic chamber for closing the port is provided with at least one piston-side port that faces on the port when at a first position. When a brake pedal is stepped on from a retracted state to move the piston from the first position to a second position spaced from the first position by a predetermined distance, the hydraulic chamber is blocked from the communication with the reservoir tank. The at least one piston-side port is provided therein with an orifice, so that the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic chamber is raised at the time of a quick stepping of the brake pedal but is allowed to flow to the reservoir tank without being raised at the time of a non-quick stepping.

摘要: A vehicle that improves the accuracy of wheel stopping determination including a stopping determination unit that calculates stopping determination time by multiplying the pulse width of a wheel speed pulse immediately before a non-output time, for which no wheel speed pulse is output from a wheel speed sensor, by 21/2+1, or a corrected time which is corrected on the basis of the stopping determination time is set as a threshold value for determining stopping of wheels. Thus, the time corresponding to the pulse width of the wheel speed pulse takes into consideration the deceleration and traveling distance of the vehicle, thereby obtaining an optimum threshold value for determining the stopping of the wheels.
