Abstract:
An opening/closing device of a door for a refrigerator or the like will open/close the door member at a desired side, namely, at the right side or at the left side, without requiring a movable operating handle. The device is simple in construction, has a high adiabtic efficiency, and can be easily incorporated in the door member. Therefore, no special mechanism is necessary in the door member and no structural change is required inside the door member.
Abstract:
A gas-diesel dual fuel engine operative with both a gaseous fuel and a diesel fuel oil. The engine has an electronic governor circuit adapted to receive both a speed signal representing actual speed of engine and a set speed signal representing a predetermined command speed of the engine, electric actuators adapted to actuate a diesel fuel injection pump and a gaseous fuel regulating valve, respectively, in response to the signal from the electronic governor circuit, and a mode switching control circuit connected to the electronic governor circuit and adapted to switch the operation of the electric actuators between a diesel fuel operation mode and a gaseous fuel operation mode.
Abstract:
A photosensitive drum includes a cylindrical core which may be fixedly mounted on a rotating shaft and which is comprised of an elastic material and an outer sleeve which is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the core and which includes a supporting layer and a photosensitive layer formed on the supporting layer. A combination of the elastic core and the outer sleeve is constructed such that the drum only deforms locally at a point where an external force is applied and its immediate vicinity while maintaining the other portion virtually unchanged. In one form, the outer sleeve is fixedly mounted on the core, and, in another form, the outer sleeve is detachably mounted on the core. In the latter case, it is so structured that no relative movement takes place between the core and the outer sleeve even if external forces are applied to the drum.
Abstract:
A magnetic brush development apparatus includes a developer containing magnetic powder therein which is attracted to a non-magnetic support member by a magnet arranged therein. The developer is brought into contact with a latent electrostatic image bearing member which is located in a development section for developing the latent electrostatic image. The magnet has substantially one magnetic pole portion capable of producing a magnetic field having a plurality of peaks in the intensity of the magnetic field located in the development section.
Abstract:
The sheet separation apparatus for separating a transfer sheet from a toner image bearing photoconductor for use in an electrophotographic copying machine comprises a plurality of separators which are rotatably mounted on a shaft arranged parallel to the photoconductor, and each of the separators is independently urged into pressure contact with the surface of the photoconductor by a spring member through a control member which is substantially integral with the shaft. In one embodiment of the sheet separation apparatus, the control member serves as a protector for preventing toner particles from being scattered from the surface of the photoconductor and in another embodiment of the sheet separation apparatus, the shaft can be turned about a predetermined point of one end portion of the shaft in the direction that the other end portion of the shaft can be moved away from the photoconductor for easy maintenance of the sheet separation apparatus.
Abstract:
A corrosion-resistant article is proposed which is coated with an aluminum nitride wherein the aluminum nitride grains contain oxygen by 0.1 mass % or greater but not greater than 20 mass % so that the thermal expansion coefficient of the coating layer is made even with that of the base body; the relative density of the coating layer is preferably 50% or higher but lower than 98%. It is preferred that the coating layer is first made by chemical vapor deposition and then subjected to an oxidizing atmosphere of a temperature of 700 degrees centigrade or higher but 1150 degrees centigrade or lower; or it is preferable that after the chemical vapor deposition step the coating layer is exposed to the natural atmosphere to adsorb hydrate and then subjected to a heat treatment in an inert atmosphere of a temperature of 900 degrees centigrade but 1300 degrees centigrade or lower.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a wiring board comprising the steps of winding an electrical wire around a insulating plate having a number of electrical wire grooves for placing an electrical wire therein and a number of terminal grooves formed at positions corresponding to the electrical wire grooves in which the attached pressure connection terminal is connected to the electrical wire making use of the electrical wire grooves; cutting the electrical wire wound around the insulating plate at desired positions; and attaching the pressure connection terminal at a desired position in the number of terminal grooves, a wiring board, and an electrical connection box manufactured by accommodating the wiring box in a casing.
Abstract:
An electric connection box of the present invention comprises an upper case, a lower case fitting with the upper case, a connector housing connecting with a connector from the outside, one or a plurality of bus-bars each arranged sandwiched between the upper case and the lower case and having a terminal portion comprised of a plurality of terminal pieces positioned arranged in parallel inside the connector housing and a bus-bar body integrally formed with the terminal portion, and an insulator provided at least between the plurality of terminal pieces to connect and secure the terminal pieces to each other, by which insulator the narrow width terminal pieces are connected with each other and disturbance of the pitch or deformation is prevented.
Abstract:
An electrical connection box has electronic components mounted therein and includes a heat pipe for radiating heat generated from the electronic components to the outside. The heat pipe has a heat absorbing portion inside the connection box and a heat radiating portion outside the connection box. The heat pipe is formed of an electrically conductive material, and an electrically conductive heat collecting member is provided for collecting the heat generated from the electronic components. The heat absorbing portion of the heat pipe is connected to the heat collecting member, and a grounding current is supplied to the heat pipe and the heat collecting member.
