    Abstract: A filtration filter is suitable for performing cross-flow filtration by using a metallic porous membrane. A metallic porous membrane has a membrane portion for filtering filtration objects contained in a fluid and a held portion provided at its outer periphery. A first frame member and a second frame member hold the held portion of the metallic porous membrane there between. The held portion has a bent portion bent to a second principal surface side opposing a first principal surface of the membrane portion. The first frame member is in contact with the held portion at the first principal surface side of the metallic porous membrane. The second frame member is disposed at an inner side portion of the first frame member and is in contact with the held portion at the second principal surface side of the metallic porous membrane.

    Abstract: A filtration filter comprises a porous film including a central film portion having a plurality of through holes and an outer edge portion adjacent to the central film portion. The porous film portion lies in a flat plane in the absence of a force being applied to the central portion of the central film portion. A frame holds the outer edge portion of the porous film in such a manner that when a force is applied to the central film portion in a first direction, the central film portion moves in the first direction relative to the flat plane and the outer edge portion moves in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, relative to the flat plane. In this way stresses applied to the porous film during a filtering operation are reduced.

    Abstract: A filtration filter device that includes a filtration filter that filters an object to be filtered that a fluid contains, and a holding member that holds an outer circumferential portion of the filtration filter. An annular projecting portion that projects in a thickness direction of the holding member and that defines a channel through which the fluid flows is formed on one main surface of the holding member. A recessed portion that is recessed in the thickness direction of the holding member and that has an inner diameter larger than an inner diameter of the projecting portion is formed on the other main surface of the holding member. The filtration filter is disposed inside the projecting portion of the holding member.

    Abstract: A measurement method measures an amount of substance of an analyte in a sample fluid passing through a perforated structure having a pair of principal surfaces opposed to each other and having a plurality of cavity portions extending through both of the principal surfaces. An elapsed time from a time when the sample fluid begins passing through the perforated structure or a predetermined time thereafter to a time when a characteristic value of the perforated structure reaches a predetermined threshold. The elapsed time is used to determine the amount (the concentration) of substance of the analyte.
