    Abstract: A method for detecting a texture of Takifugu obscurus, including: (S1) removing internal organs and skin of the Takifugu obscurus followed by washing and drying; and removing a head and cutting a flesh on two sides of the Takifugu obscurus along a spine; (S2) cutting a plurality of cylindrical samples with the same shape and size along both sides of the flesh followed by transfer to a pre-cooled petri dish; allowing a cross section of the samples to cling to the petri dish followed by fixing with a petri dish cover; and storing the petri dish in seal at 0-4° C.; (S3) detecting, by a texture analyzer, a texture of each cylindrical sample; and averaging detection results of the samples as a result of the texture of the Takifugu obscurus.

    Abstract: A soil sampler assembly includes a utility vehicle and a soil sampler module coupled to the utility vehicle. The utility vehicle includes a cab, and the soil sampler module is configured to deposit a soil sample in the cab. For example, the soil sampler assembly includes a conveyor system configured to convey the soil sample to the cab. The soil sampler assembly further includes a sampler arm assembly. The sampler arm assembly includes a power cylinder, a guide cylinder, a transfer block, and a probe. The probe is coupled to the soil sampler module and defines a longitudinal interior channel configured to receive the soil sample and release the soil sample for collection. The probe is rotatable from a first orientation facing the ground to a second orientation where the probe is facing opposite the ground for releasing the soil sample onto the conveyor system.

    Abstract: A full-sea depth multi-point in-situ sampler includes a sampling assembly, a pressure-retaining assembly, a pressure-compensating assembly, and a cleaning assembly. The sampling assembly includes a handle, an extrusion valve, a needle valve core, a two-stage piston, a sampling tube, and a capturing device. The pressure-retaining assembly includes a pressure-retaining cylinder, a locking mechanism, a floating valve core, a support spring, and a drainage device. The pressure-compensating assembly includes a pressure-compensating cylinder, a piston, and an end cap. The cleaning assembly includes a cleaning sleeve, a cleaning cylinder, and multiple trigger mechanisms. A sampling and transfer method based on the sampler is also provided.
