摘要: A membrane based process separates amines or organic acids from a solution containing at least one amine or at least one organic acid according to their hydrophobic properties. The more hydrophobic amine or organic acid passes the hydrophobic membrane into an acidic aqueous solution, thus selectively removing the amine or organic acid from the first solution. The process is particularly suitable to obtain chiral amines in high yield. A transaminase-catalyzed transamination of an amino donor and amino acceptor is combined with a hydrophobic membrane separation of the produced chiral amine. The selective removal of the chiral amine from the reaction mixture promotes the further transformation of the amino acceptor into the product chiral amine.

摘要: The present invention is a method for separating carbon dioxide in which the membrane separation is performed such that a carbon dioxide partial pressure difference ΔP at the final outlet on the carbon dioxide non-permeation side is ⅕ or more of the carbon dioxide partial pressure on the carbon dioxide non-permeation side (PX·XCO2), in a separation membrane system provided with an inorganic separation membrane that is permeated by carbon dioxide preferentially from a mixed gas containing methane and the carbon dioxide, therefore, the driving force that is a partial pressure difference of carbon dioxide between on the carbon dioxide non-permeation side and on the carbon dioxide permeation side is maintained, and further the membrane area of the inorganic separation membrane to be used can be suppressed smaller, the carbon dioxide can be efficiently separated, and the cost is low.

The layer is made of a material including a mixture of silicon carbide and of at least one compound chosen from silicon nitride or silicon oxynitride, the content by weight of elemental nitrogen, with respect to the content by weight of SiC in the material constituting the porous separating membrane layer, is between 0.02 and 0.15.

摘要: The present invention relates to a composite separation membrane that is applicable to carbon dioxide separation and recovery processes. The composite separation membrane includes a coating layer composed of graphene oxide and a bile acid or its salt on a porous polymer support. The composite separation membrane of the present invention, which includes a coating layer composed of graphene oxide and a bile acid or its salt, has both high carbon dioxide permeability and high selectivity for carbon dioxide over nitrogen, hydrogen or methane gas, is free of surface defects, and maintains a stable structure without deterioration of its performance even after long-term use. Due to these advantages, the composite separation membrane of the present invention can be applied to industrial fields involving carbon dioxide separation and recovery processes. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the composite separation membrane.

摘要: A transfer line between the outlet of a steam cracker and the inlet for the quench system has metallic or ceramic inserts having a pore size from about 0.001 to about 0.5 microns inside the line forming a gas tight barrier with the inner surface of the line and having a vent for the resulting gas tight pocket are used to separate H2, CH4, CO and CO2 from cracked gases reducing the load on the down-stream separation train of the steam cracker.
