摘要: A camera having a lens shutter and a focal-plane shutter, includes a selector circuit for selecting either a lens shutter mode or a focal-plane shutter mode; a first driving device for controlling either the programmed exposure value of the lens shutter or the size of the aperture, the first driving device including a motor and an actuating member driven by the motor, the actuating member including a peripheral surface with a first cam for controlling the programmed exposure value of the lens shutter in response to forward rotation of the motor, and a second cam for controlling the size of the aperture in response to reverse rotation of the motor, the first cam having an inclination in a first direction and the second cam having a less steep inclination in an opposite direction; a pivotally mounted opening lever connecting the lens shutter to the actuating member, the lever defining a first arm and a second arm, the first arm in engagement with the actuating member and the second arm connected with the lens shutter, a first pin on the first arm which rides on the cams, and a second pin on the second arm to pivotally connect with shutter blades of the lens shutter; a spring biasing the first pin into engagement with the cams; a second driving device controlling the time of operation of the focal-plane shutter mode; and a sequential control circuit controlling the driving devices.

摘要: An electrical switch device for detecting preset alarm times in an alarming device comprises a one-piece switch part connected to and rotatable with a rotationally driven time wheel, and first and second fixed switch parts electrically insulated from each other. An alarming circuit is electrically connected to the fixed switch parts and sounds an audible alarm when the switch parts are closed. An alarm time setting mechanism is settable in a predetermined angular position corresponding to the alarm time to be detected so that when the time wheel is driven to the predetermined position, the switch parts are closed thereby activating the alarm.

摘要: An electric timer includes a rotatably mounted operating member which is movable from a datum position to any one of a plurality of angular positions which correspond to periods of time for which it is desired to set the time period. The operating member is urged to rotate in the direction towards the datum position when it is set to a desired angular position. A rotatably mounted toothed member is driven by the operating member when the operating member is urged back towards the datum position. A pivotable escapement member engages with the teeth of the toothed member, and an electro-magnet controls the pivoting of the escapement member and thereby the rotation of the toothed member and operating member. The electro-magnet comprises a permanent magnet for exerting a magnetic force to normally attract the escapement member, and a winding receptive of reference pulses to reduce the magnetic force exerted by the permanent magnet so as to permit the pivoting of the escapement member.

摘要: A slip mechanism in the gear train of a clock comprises a gear wheel and an associated pinion coaxial with the gear. The gear wheel and pinion have interengaging surfaces for centering and rotatively guiding them relative to one another. A circle of resilient fingers on one of the gear wheel and pinions resiliently, frictionally and radially engage an annular friction surface of the other to provide a frictional coupling between them. Moreover hooks on the fingers retain the gear wheel and pinion in assembled relation to one another. In one embodiment the resilient fingers are integral with the pinion and are received in a concentric opening in the gear wheel of lesser diameter than a circle defined by the fingers in relaxed conditions. In another embodiment the resilient fingers are integral with the gear wheel and engage the outside of a concentric flange on the pinion of larger diameter than a circle defined by the fingers in relaxed condition. The pinion and gear can readily be formed of plastic material thus providing an inexpensive slip mechanism which can be easily assembled.

摘要: An electromechanical driving device comprising a permanent magnet rotor mounted for rotation on a non-magnetic support plate, and a wheel train mounted on the support plate and driven by the rotor. A coreless field coil is mounted on the support plate and positioned to drive the rotor and thereby drive the wheel train when the coreless field coil is energized. The coreless coil is wound on a coil bobbin having an axial bore. The support plate includes a projecting portion dimensioned to fit within the axial bore of the bobbin to support the bobbin and thereby mount the same on the support plate.

摘要: An alarming device for a clock comprises a rotationally driven minute time wheel having plural sets of shift teeth, a rotatable 10-minutes time wheel which intermittently meshes with the shift teeth of the minute time wheel to be driven thereby, and a rotatable hour time wheel which intermittently meshes with the 10-minutes time wheel and is driven thereby. First and second detection devices respectively detect when the 10-minutes and hour time wheels are in predetermined angular positions, and setting means enables setting of the detection devices in predetermined positions. An audible alarm is rendered operative and provides an audible alarm only when the 10-minutes time wheel and the hour time wheel have respectively conformed in phase with said first and second detection devices thereby providing notification of the alarm time. The first detection device is provided with alarm time indicating indicia each of which represents one-figure minutes selected in accordance with the number of said shift teeth of the minute time wheel, and the second detection device is provided with alarm time indicating indicia representing hours.

摘要: An alarm clock comprises at least one rotationally driven rotatable time wheel, at least one rotatable detecting wheel rotatable relative to the time wheel to phases corresponding to alarm signaling times by an alarm signaling time setting wheel, and a time detecting switch having an open switching state when the time wheel is out of phase with the detecting wheel and switchable to a closed switching state when the time wheel rotates into phase with the detecting wheel to thereby enable the sounding of an alarm at preselected alarm signaling times. The time detecting switch comprises a slide switch comprising one of the time and detecting wheels being comprised of a one-piece structure composed of electrically conductive material and having a gear teeth portion for meshing with another gear and having a first set of projections which define the contact points of the slide switch, and the other of the time and detecting wheels being composed of electrically insulating material and having a switch plate connected thereto having a contact portion for making sliding electrical contact with the first set of projections.

摘要: In a battery powered alarm clock, an alarm switching device comprises at least one detecting wheel whose phase is set in accordance with the desired alarm time, at least one detecting switch which is closed when the phase of the time wheel of the clock corresponds to that of the detecting wheel and a printed circuit board having alarm circuitry mounted thereon with at least one land for connecting the alarm circuitry to one pole of the battery. The alarm switching device construction provides solderless connection by at least two battery contact plates for contacting the two poles of the battery. One of the plates provides three electrical contacts including a first contact with one pole of the battery, a second contact with the land on the printed circuit board and a third contact with the detecting switch, whereby the assembly and construction of the clock is greatly simplified.
