摘要: Disclosed are example embodiments of method and apparatus supporting narrowband system information modification indications based on synchronization raster positions. A terminal device may comprise at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the terminal device to determine a first frequency position of a synchronization signal, and apply a first scheme to decode at least a part of system information received from a network, responsive to the determined first frequency position of the synchronization signal. The first frequency position is different from a second frequency position, and the first scheme is different from a second scheme which is applicable for decoding the part of the system information when the synchronization signal is at the second frequency position.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of paging enhancement mechanism. The method comprises: in accordance with a determination that no early paging indication is received from a second device during a set of indication occasions, determining, at a first device, whether a paging-related condition is met, the early paging indication addressing a set of paging occasions, the second device serving the first device; in accordance with a determination that the paging-related condition is met, refraining from monitoring for paging message on the set of paging occasions; and in accordance with a determination that the paging-related condition is not met, monitoring for the paging message on the set of paging occasions. As such, the paging mechanism performed between the terminal device and the network device can be adapted to the network conditions, reliability, power consumption and so on.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of state transition reporting. The method comprises: determining, at a first device, a DRX configuration for a second device in an inactive state, the second device located within an area served by one or more devices comprising the first device; determining configuration information based at least in part on the DRX configuration; and transmitting, to a third device of a core network, the configuration information to cause the third device to adjust downlink transmissions for the second device. The core network can determine when the UE is reachable and adjust transmissions associated with paging accordingly. As such, a longer eDRX cycle can be achieved without increasing buffering burden at the RAN.

摘要: According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a first device receives a configuration of a paging indication from a second device. The configuration indicates how to monitor the paging indication and mapping between the paging indication and a set of paging occasions. The first device monitors a paging message in a paging occasion associated with the first device. In this way, it can reduce latency and save power at the first device. Further, it also saves signaling for paging.
