摘要: Stock inlet of a paper machine that includes at least one stock suspension supply, a diffusor block having a plurality of tubular elements, dividing elements which extend across a width of the machine, and a stock inlet aperture having a top wall and a bottom wall. The dividing elements are located between the top wall and the bottom wall, so that a plurality of suspension conduits are formed, which extend across the width of the machine. Further, the stock inlet aperture is positioned one of adjacent one wire and between two wires. The suspension conduits include a first region and a second region disposed downstream of the first region, with respect to a stock flow direction. The first region is formed by flat boundary surfaces which extend across the width of the machine and converge in the stock flow direction, and each of the dividing elements has a sharper convergence of surfaces in the second region than in the first region. The plurality of tubular elements are associated with a turbulence generating element to produce secondary turbulence currents in partial suspension flows conveyed through the plurality of tubular elements. In this way, the secondary turbulence currents overlap a primary current of each partial suspension flow, and all of the dividing elements have a contour and an arrangement so that the second region for each suspension conduit is of equal length and has an identical cross sectional course.

摘要: A multi-layer headbox for the production of a multi-layer web of paper has, for instance, three flow planes (I, II, III), each having a pulp feed device (1.1, 1.2, 1.3). In each flow plane a turbulence generator (3) is provided which opens into a nozzle (4). In it there are two plates (5.1, 5.2) which keep two neighboring streams of slurry separate from each other up to the region of the exit slot (8). Each plate is developed as a flexurally soft plate of plastic, the downstream end of which is metal and has a thickness S of at most 0.3 mm. The plastic and metal have a different in coefficients of thermal expansion of

摘要: An electric charge is created on a moving reproduction carrier by each of a plurality of electrodes extending in a line perpendicular to the direction of transport of the reproduction carrier. Each of the signals applied to the electrodes has an amplitude corresponding to the density of the corresponding point of the original. The charge created by the electrode has undesirable variations resulting from differences in the electrode characteristics and from differences in the amplifiers amplifying the signal before application to each electrode. After each charge distribution from a copy has been created, a test signal is supplied to the inputs of all amplifiers. This creates a test charge distribution on the reproduction carrier. After developing of the reproduction carrier the test line created by developing of the test charge distribution is scanned photoelectrically. A differential amplifier compares each of the so-scanned signals with a reference signal and furnishes an error signal as a function of the difference therebetween. The error signal is utilized to vary the gain of the amplifier associated with the electrode.

摘要: An insertable calibration device for a programmable tester apparatus comprises at least one calibration unit and a control unit. The progammable tester apparatus is configured to test at least one electronic device with electronic circuits. The progammable tester apparatus comprises a holding device, contact-making devices for the electronic device, and tester channels for coupling in signals to the electronic device. The calibration unit is connected to a first tester channel to be calibrated. The calibration unit is configured to detect a calibration signal edge of a calibration signal that is transmitted by the tester apparatus at a certain transmission instant, to detect a reference signal edge of a reference signal that is transmitted by the tester apparatus via a second tester channel at a reference instant, to compare the instants at which the two signal edges arrive, and to output a comparison result. The control unit evaluates the comparison results and can be used to program the transmission instants in such a way that the instants at which the calibration signal edge and the reference signal edge arrive, for the compensation of signal propagation time differences, are substantially identical. The calibration device has the same form and connections as the electric device and is insertable into the holding device with an accurate fit instead of the electronic device.
