Abstract: A misuse detection electronic control unit in a vehicle network system including a plurality of electronic control units that communicate with one another through buses in accordance with a CAN protocol includes a transceiver unit that performs a reception step of receiving a target data frame and a reference data frame transmitted through the buses, wherein the target data frame is a data frame having a first identifier and wherein the reference data frame is a data frame having a second identifier different from the first identifier and a misuse detection process unit that performs a detection step of performing, as misuse detection for the target data frame, evaluation in accordance with a reception timing of the reference data frame and a reception timing of the target data frame on the basis of a certain rule specifying a reception interval between the reference data frame and the target data frame.

Abstract: A risk information processing method is used in a risk information processing system that manages a degree of risk at a target spot at which a moving object is located. The method includes: receiving sensor data collected at each of two spots different from the target spot; determining a degree of risk of an event at each of the two spots from the sensor data collected at each of the two spots; storing, as risk information the determined degree of risk associated with each of the two spots; estimating first risk information associated with the target spot without sensor data of first event at the target spot, by using the stored risk information, the first risk information being a degree of risk of the first event at the target spot; and outputting information for the target spot based on the estimated first risk information.

Abstract: A signal observation device includes: an observation unit that observes a volume of a target signal by using compressed sensing; a filter having a plurality of elements that are arranged in a matrix and that are capable of individually restricting the volume of the target signal to be transmitted to the observation unit; and a control unit that causes the observation unit to observe the volume of the target signal transmitted via the filter by using first control for controlling the elements of the filter on the basis of a first observation matrix in which values of matrix elements are predetermined and that causes the observation unit to observe the volume of the target signal transmitted via the filter using second control for controlling the elements of the filter on the basis of a second observation matrix in which values of matrix elements are based on random numbers. The control unit causes the observation unit to observe the volume of the target signal plural times by selectively using the first control and the second control.

Abstract: The present application discloses a method for controlling a terminal apparatus that is used for an appliance control system for executing a remote operation on a plurality of air conditioners from a car. The method includes a first judgment step of causing a computer of the terminal apparatus to judge, based on setting information stored in a memory of the terminal apparatus, whether or not the plurality of air conditioners include a plurality of target appliances to be operated that are subjected to the remote operation; a second judgment step of causing the computer to judge whether or not the car exists in a control region; a first display step of causing a display of the terminal apparatus to display a start instruction image; an output step of causing the computer to output control data for starting the remote operation to the network; and a second display step of causing the display to display a plurality of notification images indicating that the control data has been transmitted to the plurality of target appliances to be operated.

Abstract: A method for controlling a terminal apparatus, to remotely operate a plurality of appliances, the terminal apparatus including a memory that stores setting information for setting a plurality of target appliances to be operated by remote operation. The method includes causing a computer of the terminal apparatus to judge whether the setting information includes information about the plurality of target appliances; causing a display of the terminal apparatus to, when the computer judges that the setting information includes information about the plurality of target appliances, display a start instruction image, that includes an instruction image region that provides an instruction for the remote operation to the plurality of target appliances and provides a starting instruction for the remote operation; and causing the computer, when the instruction image region is operated, to output control data for providing the instruction for the remote operation to the plurality of target appliances.
