    Abstract: In some implementations, a user equipment (UE) may implement a ranging support protocol layer comprising one or more ranging support elements. The UE may communicate, using the one or more ranging support elements of the ranging support protocol layer, with a corresponding ranging support protocol layer in one or more other UEs, wherein the communicating is conducted via at least one lower protocol layer implemented at the UE. The UE may provide, at the ranging support protocol layer, a positioning service to an upper protocol layer implemented at the UE, the positioning service based at least in part on the communicating.

    Abstract: A first UE and a second UE may exchange information relating to one or more machine learning data services. The one or more machine learning data services may be provided by the second UE. The first UE and the second UE may pair with each other for the one or more machine learning data services. The second UE may perform machine learning inference using at least one machine learning inference model, and may transmit the inference result (e.g., a link quality prediction) associated with a link between a network node and the first UE to the network node. The network node may switch (the direction of) the network node beam if the inference result predicts that the degree of link quality degradation associated with a current network node beam is going to be greater than a prespecified threshold.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating scrambling of sidelink control information for sidelink communication are disclosed herein. The scrambling of the SCI may include scrambling CRC, scrambling information bits, and/or scrambling channel bits. An example method for wireless communication at a user equipment UE includes scrambling at least a portion of SCI. The example method also includes transmitting the SCI carrying control information for a sidelink transmission. In another aspect, an example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving SCI having scrambled bits. The example method also includes decoding the SCI based on information known to the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) that transmits sensor data to another UE may also send information about the associated sensor and its performance. For example, the UE may determine a set of rules that apply to a sensor. The set of rules may define an association between a group of performance values and a group of performance levels corresponding to one or more metrics of the sensor. The UE may identify a performance value from the group of performance values for the sensor based on a performance level of the sensor and the set of rules. After determining the performance value, the UE may transmit an indication of the set of in a first data frame of a message and an indication of the performance value in a second data frame of the message.
