Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to establishing connections between a user equipment (UE) and a base station via a communication link using multiple subscriptions. In an aspect, a UE configured to communicate using a first subscription and a second subscription may establish a first connection with a base station via a communication link using the first subscription of the UE and may establish a second connection with the base station via the communication link using the second subscription of the UE. The UE may further perform a second connection with the base station via the communication link using the second subscription of the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may selectively determine to decode a downlink shared channel multicast transmission based on whether the downlink shared channel includes a retransmission of an initial multicast transmission. A base station may transmit a message in a downlink control channel to indicate if the downlink shared channel is carrying the retransmission of the initial multicast transmission. For example, the base station may transmit a group random network temporary identifier, downlink control information with a retransmission indicator bit, or both to indicate if the downlink shared channel is carrying the retransmission. In some cases, the message in the downlink control channel may be received at a layer one (L1) of the UE, and the downlink shared channel transmission may be decoded at L1 of the UE and sent to a layer two (L2) of the UE for processing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to enable abase station and a user equipment (UE) to identify and respond to communications in accordance with one or more communications services. For example, the base station and the UE may support communications in accordance with a wireless communications standard (e.g., third generation partnership project (3GPP) standard), in addition to supporting an additional communications service including one or more proprietary features. In some cases, the UE may transmit an indication to the base station, or the base station may otherwise determine, that the UE supports the proprietary features. Further, the base station may assign and transmit a unique radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) to the UE for the additional communications service (e.g., a proprietary RNTI). Accordingly, the UE and the base station may identify and use the proprietary RNTI when transmitting, receiving, decoding, and responding to proprietary communications messages.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station (BS) may receive an indication of a traffic pattern for application traffic. The BS may determine, based at least in part on one or more measurements associated with the traffic pattern, one or more parameters for at least one of a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration for the application traffic, or a semipersistent scheduling (SPS) configuration for the application traffic. The BS may transmit, to a user equipment (UE) that is to receive the application traffic, an indication of the at least one of the DRX configuration or the SPS configuration. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) (e.g., a relay UE) may establish a relay connection for routing communications between a network entity (e.g., a base station) and a second UE (e.g., a remote UE). The relay connection may include a sidelink connection and an access link connection. The remote UE may transmit a request to the network entity via the relay UE. The request may include a relay service code associated with the sidelink connection, as well as a request for quality of service (QoS) support for the relay connection. Based on the request, the network entity may determine a QoS configuration for the relay connection. The network entity may indicate the QoS configuration to the UEs via the relay connection. The UEs may adjust parameters of the relay connection to meet the specifications of the QoS configuration.
