    摘要: Programmable high speed state machines with sequencing capabilities based on a dual array structure with state information and fast sequencing logic placed between the two arrays are disclosed. The state section consists of multiple registered macrocells which are connected to function as program counters and decoders to the output array. The input array has feedback from the state registers and input from the dedicated inputs and input/output pins around the device. The inputs of the input array are all individually configurable as registered or nonregistered, with the inputs being divided into three groups, input/output, Mealy and simple inputs, with three enable product terms from the output array controlling the respective groups. Various additional characteristics, features and capabilities of the invention are disclosed.

    摘要: A wing skin is usually mounted to a support structure by using metal fasteners which cause high stress points and potential leakage points. The invention utilizes projections formed in a wing skin to mate with recesses formed in a support substructure which, when positioned together, form interdigitations which prevent sliding displacement of the wing skin. A plurality of sliding bars transversely pass through the interdigitating sections to maintain an interlocking relation. The transversely oriented bars enable the use of the invention with contoured wing skin structures.

    摘要: In one embodiment a plasma ignitor (10) having a first dielectric housing (18), that encases a first portion of a first conductive lead (14) and a first portion of a second conductive lead (16), and end cap (30), that locks its filament (31) into position, is used to initiate a plasma within an etch chamber (64). The plasma is used to etch an integrated circuit substrate (62) and to form an etched surface (78). A conductive layer of material (80) is then deposited on the etched surface (78). The first dielectric housing (18) keeps the first portion of the first conductive lead (14) and the first portion of the second conductive lead (16) from shorting to one another during processing, and the end cap (30) prevents the filament (31) from falling off during processing. Thus, the present invention allows contact resistance to be repeatably minimized.

    摘要: The invention relates to an expansion fastener device that secures two interlocking members together. The device includes a parallelepiped receptacle having slits along opposite ends. The receptacle is inserted through the interlocking members and wedges are driven into the receptacle to cause its expansion in horizontal and vertical directions. This secures the members together along relatively large shear areas thereby decreasing the possibility of shear damage to the members.
