    摘要: Compositions comprising A) a polyolefin or polyolefin copolymer, and B) a compound of the formula I wherein R1 is O or O—X—O; R2, R3, R4 and R5 independently are hydrogen, halogen, C1-C8alkyl, C1-C8alkoxy, SR10, SO2R10, phenyl, CF3, COOR11; and wherein R2 and R3 also may be OH; R6 and R7 are H or C1-C8alkyl; R8 and R9 are H, C1-C8alkyl or allyl; R10 is phenyl or C1-C12alkyl; R11 is C1-C8alkyl; C3-C50alkylene interrupted by one or more O; cyclohexyl; benzyl; allyl; X is C2-C18alkylene; C3-C12hydroxyalkylene; or a group selected from those of the formulae where D and D′ independently are a direct bond or C1-C3alkylene; and Y is O, S, SO2, or C1-C3alkylene, e.g. polyethylene films, are well stabilized against the effects of light, oxygen and heat. Some novel compounds of component B are valuable stabilizers for organic material against damage by light, oxygen and/or heat.

    摘要: Substituted 2-nitro-2'-hydroxyazobenzenes are prepared by adding an aqueous mineral acid solution of a diazotized o-nitroaniline to a strongly alkaline lower alkanol or aqueous lower alkanol solution of a substituted phenol, containing sufficient alkali metal hydroxide to assure a pH value substantially over 11 and an excess of hydroxyl ion in the reaction mixture even after all the acidic diazonium salt solution is added, wherein the reaction solvent mixture is at least 50% by weight of lower alkanol, at a reaction temperature between -15.degree. C. and +30.degree. C.The o-nitroazobenzenes obtained are intermediate products useful in the manufacture of benzotriazole UV absorbers.

    摘要: 2-Oxo-2-alkoxy-5-dialkylphosphono-1,2-oxaphospholanes of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 to R.sub.7 are hydrocarbon radicals can be prepared from .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated ketones and 2 or more moles of a dialkyl phosphite. Obviously .gamma.-ketophosphonates are intermediates of this reaction as these compounds react with 1 or more moles of dialkyl phosphite in yielding the oxaphospholanes too. Both reactions are promoted by alkaline catalysts.The new oxaphospholane derivatives are considerably stable against thermal decomposition. They can be used as flame retardants in epoxy resins.
