    Abstract: An electronic device according to certain embodiments, comprises a bracket defining a portion of a surface of the electronic device, the bracket including metal and having a recess formed therein, wherein the recess is formed by an inner wall including a resting region and an inclined region facing a different direction from the inner wall; and an antenna substrate including a conductive pattern, a first surface including a radiation area configured to radiate an RF signal from the conductive pattern, and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the antenna substrate is disposed in an interior of the recess such that the first surface faces an opened portion of the recess, the second surface faces the inner wall.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing and an antenna module. The housing includes a front plate, a rear plate disposed opposite the front plate, and a lateral member surrounding a space between the front plate and the rear plate and including a conductive portion and a non-conductive portion. The antenna module is disposed in the space and includes a printed circuit board (PCB) and at least one antenna element. The PCB has a first surface disposed to face the lateral member in the space, and a second surface disposed opposite the first surface. The at least one antenna element is disposed on the first surface or near the first surface in the PCB, and forms a beam pattern toward the lateral member.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic device including a housing including a front surface, a rear surface, and a side member, a rigid printed circuit board including a first ground, a flexible printed circuit board including a second ground and extended toward the side surface from one end of the rigid printed circuit board, a plurality of antenna elements mounted on the flexible printed circuit board and radiating a millimeter wave signal, a support member fixing the flexible printed circuit board to be at a predetermined angle with the rear surface, and a communication circuit, the first ground and the second ground allows a radiation pattern of the millimeter wave signal to have directivity in a direction of the side surface, by shielding a component, which is radiated toward at least part of the front surface or the rear surface, of a millimeter wave signal radiated from the plurality of radiators.

    Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. An electronic device according to various embodiments includes: a housing having a front plate facing a first direction, a rear plate facing a second direction opposite the first direction, and a side housing surrounding a space between the front plate and the rear plate; a conductive member comprising a conductive material disposed between the front plate and the rear plate; a display viewable through the front plate; at least one antenna module including a plurality of antenna elements configured to form a beam in a third direction facing the conductive member, and disposed to be spaced apart from the conductive member in the space; and a wireless communication circuit electrically coupled to the antenna module and configured to transmit and/or receive at least one signal having a frequency in a range of 3 GHz to 100 GHz, wherein the conductive member has a first surface forming a first acute angle with a virtual line crossing centers of the antenna elements and facing in the third direction, and a second surface forming a second acute angle with the virtual line, wherein a joint of the first surface and the second surface is positioned on the virtual line.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion configured to be movable such that the second portion is capable of being folded with respect to the first portion, a first array antenna disposed at the first portion and including a first antenna element and a second antenna element, a second array antenna including a third antenna element and a fourth antenna element, and disposed at the second portion such that the third antenna element is aligned with the first antenna element and the fourth antenna element is aligned with the second antenna element when the electronic device is in a folded state in which the second portion of the housing is folded with respect to the first portion by using the third portion, a communication circuit electrically connected to the first array antenna and the second array antenna, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor may be configured to: determine whether the electronic device is in an unfolded state or a folded state based on the second portion being in the unfolded state or folded state with respect to the first portion by using the third portion, when the electronic device is in the unfolded state, form a first beam through the first antenna element and the second antenna element or a second beam through the third antenna element and the fourth antenna element by using the communication circuit, and when the electronic device is in the folded state, form a third beam through the first antenna element and the third antenna element or a fourth beam through the second antenna element and the fourth antenna element by using the communication circuit.
