    摘要: A rotary machine includes a rotatable rotor, buckets radially mounted on and spaced apart about the rotor, a stationary stator/casing disposed about and radially outward from the rotor defining an annular gap between the casing and tips of the buckets, and an abradable seal member provided to the bucket tip portions and disposed within the annular gap such that during differential growth of the rotor and buckets relative to the casing the seal member abrades in response to contact with a base seal member provided to the stator casing. Thereby, clearance between the stator casing and bucket tips is minimized between the moving bucket tips with the stator casing.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for delivering a fluid using non-mechanical lock hopper eductor assembly. The assembly including at least one lock hopper coupled to an eductor motive fluid inlet, a source of a treatment material and a suction flow outlet. The lock hopper configured to contain therein a pressurized treatment fluid as an output suction flow. The lock hopper is coupled to an eductor pump assembly. The eductor pump assembly including a suction chamber in fluidic communication with the eductor motive fluid inlet, the suction flow outlet and a fluid mixture outlet. The suction chamber configured to output a fluid mixture to a mixing chamber coupled to said fluid mixture outlet and configured to mix the fluid mixture therein. The eductor pump assembly further including an expansion feature coupled to said mixing chamber and configured to expand the fluid mixture therein for delivery to a downstream component.

    摘要: A seal assembly for a turbomachine includes a plurality of compliant plate members attached to an interior surface of a stationary housing. The compliant plate members define a sealing ring between the stationary housing and a rotor. Each of the compliant plate members comprises at least one slot therein. The seal assembly further includes at least one arcuate static ring attached to the interior surface of the stationary housing and extending radially into the at least one slot in the compliant plate members. Each of the at least one static ring extends circumferentially through and between a plurality of the compliant plate members. Finally, the seal assembly includes a vibration damper disposed adjacent to or provided on the plurality of compliant plate members. The vibration damper is configured to dampen vibration of the plurality of compliant plate members.
