摘要: A chemical genetic programming method is provided, which enables programming by the application of a chemical genetic algorithm. The method performs transcription of tRNA from a second portion of DNA, translates amino acids based on a third portion of DNA and an aminoacyl-tRNA table, updates the aminoacyl-tRNA table by a reaction of amino acids and tRNAs, generates a phenotype tree by translation based on the aminoacyl-tRNA table and the first portion of DNA, and performs genetic operations on the DNA.

摘要: A control system controls an automatic transmission. The automatic transmission comprises a stepwise variable transmission section that includes a plurality of frictional elements and establishes a desired speed by a shift change disengaging one of the frictional elements and engaging the other of the frictional elements and a continuously variable transmission section that establishes a desired speed continuously. The control system makes a speed change control of the continuously variable transmission section cooperate with a change of an input rotation speed of the stepwise variable transmission section. The control system is configured to carry out during the shift change of the stepwise variable transmission section, judging whether a delivery of a torque from a disengaging side frictional element to an engaging side frictional element is completed or not; and starting the speed change control of the continuously variable transmission section upon judgment of the completion of the delivery of the torque regarding that an inertial phase has started.

摘要: An automatic centrifugal clutch is interposed in a power transmission system between an engine and a driving wheel. A motor, which is capable of generating electricity, is supplied with electricity from a battery to generate auxiliary power. The motor is connected to a crankshaft of the engine. An acceleration data acquisition component acquires the accelerator operation amount and the accelerator operation speed. A rotational speed detection component detects the speed of the crankshaft. A rotational speed estimation component is adapted to estimate the engagement completion rotational speed, which is a rotational speed at which the automatic centrifugal clutch is completely engaged, based upon the acceleration data acquired by the acceleration data acquisition component. A motor controller supplies the motor with a magnitude of electricity in accordance with the acceleration data when the rotational speed detected by the rotational speed detection component has reached the engagement completion rotational speed estimated by the rotational speed estimation component.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a development container, a developer bearing member, first and second carrying members that carry developer, a supply device that supplies developer for replenishment, a discharge opening that discharges the developer contained in the development container, a controller that selectively performs one of a first mode and a second mode, a drive device that changes speeds for driving the first and second carrying members, and a counter that measures the number of sheets in the second mode. The controller sets the speed of the drive device in the second mode to be slower than in the first mode, and suspends the second mode and executes a mode for changing the speed of the drive device to a speed faster than in the second mode and driving the first and second carrying members for a predetermined time if a measurement result reaches a reference value.

摘要: In a power-on detection circuit, a first connection node at which a first divided voltage is generated is connected to a second power supply line during activation of a power-down detection signal. Inactivation timing of the power-down detection signal is set earlier than an activation timing of a power-on detection signal. Therefore, the first transistor whose gate is connected to the first connection node is certainly turned off in the first half of a power-on period, which prevents the power-on detection signal from being activated during the power-on period. Further, a leak current flowing through the first transistor is reduced. In the second half of the power-on period, the power-on detection signal is certainly generated using the first divided voltage generated by the first dividing circuit. Thus, operating a reset circuit without malfunction and normally outputting a reset signal is possible disregarding behavior of a power supply voltage at power-on.

摘要: An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus establishes a handsfree profile connection with at least two cellular phones. It may be determined that a first cellular phone and a second cellular phone are receiving incoming calls at the same time, or that while a first cellular phone is calling, a second cellular phone is receiving an incoming call. In such a case, based on attributes (for example, a holder or intended use) of the first and second cellular phones, a notice manner of information on incoming call or information on telephone call is differentiated, for instance, in regard to a background color of a display window.
