摘要: A camera having a viewfinder and a taking lens changeable in focal length between at least two different focal lengths: a relatively short focal length suitable for wide-angle photography and a relatively long focal length suitable for telephotography and that allows close-up photography when the taking lens is changed to have the long focal length. The viewfinder has at least one movable lens which is axially moved and shifted away from the optical axis of the finder with respect to the axis of the taking lens when the taking lens is changed in focal length, to deflect the optical axis of the finder in order to cancel parallax error, depending on object distance.

摘要: A solid state image sensor including a light receiving section having a number of light receiving cells arranged in matrix, and a reading and storing section having a first set of switching and memory transistors for reading bright signals read out of light receiving cells arranged in a row and storing the same for a horizontal scanning period, a second set of switching and memory transistors for reading dark signals out of light receiving cells arranged in a row and storing the same for a horizontal scanning period, and a set of reading transistors for reading the bright and dark signals simultaneously out of the first and second sets of memory transistors for respective pixels successively. The light receiving section and the reading and storing section are formed integrally in the same semiconductor substrate. In order to remove the fixed pattern noise, there is derived differences between the simultaneously readout bright and dark signals with the aid of a differential amplifier.

摘要: A film cartridge includes a first container for accommodating unexposed roll film and a second container for taking up exposed roll film, the first and second containers being separably connected with each other. A stationary holding member for holding the second container is mounted on the inner surface of the back lid of a photographic camera. A movable holding member for holding the first container is mounted on the inner surface of the back lid and moved from a first position near the stationary holding member to a second position apart therefrom when the back lid is closed. The film cartridge is held by the movable and stationary holdings members with the first container held by the movable holding member and the second container held by the stationary holding member. The first and second containers can be automatically separated and respectively inserted into the film cavity and the film take-up cavity by closing the back lid.

摘要: RFID tag to which predetermined information is written in advance is added to a replenisher cartridge, and the information is read from the RFID tag when the replenisher cartridge is loaded in a photo processing device. Whether or not a loaded replenisher cartridge is a genuine product is judged based on whether or not the predetermined information is written in the tag. When it is judged, based on whether or not the predetermined information is in the tag, that the loaded replenisher cartridge is not the genuine product, a processing speed (carrying speed of photographic paper) is reduced from normal level and at the same time a supply quantity of the replenisher to a processing solution tank is increased from a normal level. This avoids significant reduction in the photo processing performance and enables non-genuine replenisher cartridges to be also used.

摘要: Title information on music composition data recorded on a reproduction CD is acquired from a title information providing site and recorded on a recording MD together with composition data. A recording/reproducing apparatus (100) transmits TOC information acquired from the reproduction CD to a title information providing server (500) through a communication device (200), a wireless public communication network (WNET), a communication exchange (400), and the Internet (INET). The title information providing server (500) creates an inquiry code corresponding to the received TOC information and transmits it to a title information database (600). The title information database (600) sends a response code corresponding to the inquiry code as a reply to the title information providing server (500). The title information providing server (500) creates title information corresponding to the response code and transmits the title information to the recording/reproducing apparatus (100) through the devices and networks in the reverse direction to the direction in which the TOC information is transmitted. In the communication paths, the communication methods are converted for the respective devices.

摘要: There are provided a parameter setting device capable of cutting down development costs, and various social costs by reducing the burden on work for optimizing parameter values, and so forth. An acquisition means acquires output results while varying parameter values of parameters. A determination means determines optimum parameter values on the basis of the output results acquired by the acquisition means. An acceptance means accepts a user's instruction for determining a procedure of acquiring the output results by the acquisition means, and a method of determining the optimum parameter values by the determination means. A storage means stores the output results acquired by the acquisition means. According to the parameter setting device of the invention, since the user's instruction for determining a procedure of acquiring the output results by the acquisition means, and a method of determining the optimum parameter values by the determination means is accepted, it is adaptable to various systems while reducing the burden on work for optimizing the parameter values.

摘要: The state of a photosensitive material processing solution is easily determined from values of multi-dimensional analysis by utilizing Mahalanobis distance. The Mahalanobis distance is calculated, and a determination is made as to whether or not the Mahalanobis distance is greater than or equal to a threshold value. If the Mahalanobis distance is less than the threshold value, the processing solution is determined to be normal, the Mahalanobis distance is displayed on a display unit, and a determination is made as to whether or not the number of sets m of normal values has become greater than or equal to a predetermined value m.sub.0. If m.gtoreq.m.sub.0, data of the characteristic values in the oldest set in a time series is deleted, and a set of data of newly detected characteristic values is added to calculate the Mahalanobis distance and update a database. If the Mahalanobis distance is greater than or equal to the predetermined value, a developing solution is determined to have become abnormal, the degree of abnormality is displayed, factors which caused the abnormality are determined, a corrective measure is determined on the basis of a combination pattern of factors, and the measure is displayed.
