摘要: A compressor rotor 6a and a turbine rotor 7a are respectively attached at either end of the main shaft 13 so that the compressor rotor 6a is driven by the power generated by the turbine rotor 7a. The main shaft 13 is supported by rolling contact bearings 15 and 16 relative to the radial direction. The thrust force applied to the main shaft 13 is supported by electromagnets 17. A sensor 18 is provided to detect the thrust force which affects the main shaft 13 through air within the compressor 6 and the expansion turbine 7. In the sensor 18, sensor elements having the properties changeable in accordance with a pressing force and capable to electrically detect the change in the properties are arranged in a circumferential direction of the main shaft. The sensor 18 detects the thrust force from the output of the sensor elements.

摘要: A centrifugal blood pump apparatus includes a plurality of permanent magnets (17) in an impeller (10) in a blood chamber (7), a plurality of coils (20) in a motor chamber (8), and a magnetic element (18) in each of the coils (20). The magnetic elements (18) are made shorter than the coils (20) to lower attractive force between the magnetic elements (18) and the permanent magnets (17) in the impeller (10), to set a large gap between the magnetic elements (18) and the permanent magnets (17). As a result, axial attractive force and negative rigidity can be lowered while required torque is satisfied.

摘要: An air cycle refrigerating/cooling system includes a first heat exchanger for cooling air, a turbine unit that has a compressor for compressing the air and an expansion turbine for adiabatically expanding the air, and a second heat exchanger for cooling the air. A compressor rotor of the compressor and a turbine rotor of the expansion turbine are attached to a common main shaft in the turbine unit in such a manner that the turbine unit drives the compressor rotor with a power generated by the turbine rotor, and the main shaft is rotatably supported by a rolling contact bearing. A part or the entirety of a thrust force applied to the main shaft is supported by an electromagnet, and a pressure equalizing device for equalizing a gas pressure at opposite ends of the rolling contact bearing is provided.

摘要: A compressor rotor 6a and a turbine rotor 7a are respectively attached at either end of the main shaft 13 so that the compressor rotor 6a is driven by the power generated by the turbine rotor 7a. The holder includes an outer cylindrical surface portion fitted to an attachment fitting hole of an engine block of an internal combustion engine, and a cylindrical fitting portion fitted to an outer circumference of the cylinder. The outer cylindrical surface portion and the cylindrical fitting portion are formed in a single piece resulting from machining one and the same member.

摘要: A multi-master node model database management technology involves notifying a higher-level master node of a transaction minimum value as a minimum value of an implementation-underway transaction in a snapshot from a lower-level master node, comparing the transaction minimum value with minimum values retained by the respective master nodes and thus updating a node minimum value and a cluster minimum value. Then, the lower-level master node transmits a write set containing a shadow copy of its own database, a heap tuple map deployed on its own memory and the transaction minimum value to the higher-level master node, and the higher-level master node receiving the write set updates the database by use of the write set if the transaction minimum value is equal to or larger than the cluster minimum value, and aborts the write set if the transaction minimum value is smaller than the cluster minimum value.

摘要: A distal side link hub is connected with a proximal end side link hub through three sets of link mechanisms for alteration in posture. At least two sets of the link mechanisms include an actuator for arbitrarily changing the posture of the distal end side link hub relative to the proximal end side link hub by rotating a proximal side end link member and a reduction gear unit for reducing the speed of and transmitting the operation amount of the actuator to the proximal side end link member. The reduction gear unit includes a geared speed reducing section having a small gear rotated by the actuator and a large gear provided in the proximal side end link member. The radius of pitch circle of the large gear is chosen to be equal to or greater than the arm length of the proximal side end link member.
