摘要: A frequency of a drive signal supplied to a piezoelectric element is swept within a specific range, a detection signal indicating the vibrating state of a vibrating member is detected, and the sweep speed of the drive signal frequency supplied to the piezoelectric element is controlled based on this detection signal. Thus, even if nonuniformities occur in the drive frequency of the piezoelectric element due to fluctuations in the surrounding temperature or the load, such nonuniformities can be overcome without any adjustments, and the piezoelectric element can be reliably driven. Also, since the sweep speed of the drive signal frequency is at a high speed when the vibrating member is in a non-drive state, needless drive signal output time during which the piezoelectric element cannot be driven can be reduced, needless power consumption can be curtailed, and nonuniformities in the drive speed of the driven object can also be reduced.

摘要: The frequency of a drive signal supplied to a piezoelectric actuator 91 is swept within a specific range, the consumption current of the piezoelectric actuator 91 is determined, and when the consumption current is equal to or greater than a reference value, the frequency of the drive signal supplied to the piezoelectric actuator 91 is shifted proportionate to a specific frequency and returned to its initial value, and the frequency sweep is continued. The resonance frequency component can be removed when the frequency of the drive signal supplied to the piezoelectric element is swept. Consequently, the piezoelectric element can be driven outside of the resonance frequency range at which the consumption current is highest, allowing extreme increases in the consumption current to be prevented and system failures due to the flow of an excessive consumption current to be avoided.

摘要: The control circuit 131 causes drive frequency modification to be re-executed after returning the drive frequency to the prescribed drive frequency when the reduction rate of the power source voltage is higher than the standard reduction rate; specifically, when driving is being performed at a drive frequency whereby drive efficiency is poor and power consumption is high, or when the piezoelectric actuator A cannot start up for whatever reason. Therefore, since a startup failure or the like can be immediately determined based on the reduction rate of the power source voltage without a long time elapsing before the startup failure is detected, the time required for this determination can be shortened, the processing that is performed from the detection of an abnormality until optimization of the drive signal can be quickly executed, electrical power consumption can be reduced, and low-power operation can be ensured.

摘要: A stuffed toy is built with a sound source member, a plate spring, and a stationary plate. The sound source member has the function of producing a sound through its oscillation. One end portion of the plate spring is connected to the sound source member. The stationary plate is attached to part of the plate spring ranging from the other end portion opposite from the above one end portion to a predetermined position, to hold the part of the plate spring. Simply rocking the stuffed toy causes the sound source member to oscillate with the above predetermined position as the fulcrum and then to receive pressure, thereby producing a sound.

摘要: A multifunctional electronic watch of the present invention displays data measured by a built-in atmospheric pressure sensor by means of a small atmospheric pressure pointer and an atmospheric pressure pointer. It is also capable of displaying a differential between the present atmospheric pressure and an atmospheric pressure three hours before by means of an atmospheric pressure tendency pointer. A dial ring attached around a clockface of the watch is formed with an atmospheric pressure scale, on the outer periphery of which is a rotation bezel formed with a height scale. The built-in sensor is accommodated in the watch so as not to project from the rotation bezel of the watch. Accordingly, an electronic watch which has additional functions of indicating environmental data such as atmospheric pressure without complicating the constitution can be realized.
