摘要: A method and apparatus to aid the loading and unloading of flexographic plates to and from an imager. The apparatus includes a magazine containing a plurality of compartments each for holding a single flexographic plate, the compartments arranged vertically, and movable in a vertical direction, a lifting mechanism to lift and lower the compartments; and a control system to control the lifting and lowering by the lifting mechanism. The control system is such that a particular compartment is moved from its rest vertical position at a rest horizontal position to a loading vertical position and a loading horizontal position at which the particular compartment is at a height for loading onto the imager.

摘要: A security print contains a background pattern formed for example of dots or lines. An object, for example the text “BEWARE OF FORGERY”, is worked into this regular background pattern for copy protection. The text is worked in by the individual lines of the background pattern being split at the places where the text is located into two partial lines which are each only about half as wide as the original line. With the naked eye this split of the background pattern components is not, or barely, recognizable. When such an original security print is copied on a conventional copying machine the original, relatively wide lines of the background pattern appear on the copy but the partial lines formed by the split thereof are not, or very poorly, copied so that the text “BEWARE OF FORGERY” appears clearly in the copy.

摘要: A device for the application of a liquid or viscous medium onto a running opposing surface includes a doctor blade that is mounted on a support beam, whereby the relative positions of the support beam and the opposing surface are adjustable by use of a regulating device. A flexible pressure tubing that is adjustable against the doctor blade is also provided on the support beam. In the process of controlling/regulating the device, the operating condition of the coating applicator is recorded, control values are established on the basis of the recorded results, and the regulating device and/or fluid pressure in the flexible pressure tubing is influenced on the basis of the established control values. Control/adjustments are made in such a manner that the angle of attack between the doctor blade and the opposing surface is maintained at a predetermined value. The tension condition of the flexible pressure tubing is recorded as an operating condition value and information regarding the deformation characteristics of the flexible pressure tubing, as well as the bending characteristics of the doctor blade, are considered when establishing the control values.

摘要: A method is provided for producing a body part of a vehicle. The method includes, but is not limited to providing a first profile part with at least one first welding flange and with a first opening as well as a second profile part with at least one third welding flange. The welding flange is at least partially arranged on the third welding flange subject to the formation of an at least partially closed form of the body part. The first welding flange and the third welding flange are arranged within the at least partially closed form. A first laser beam is guided through the first opening onto the first welding flange subject to the formation of at least one first laser weld seam between the first welding flange and the third welding flange.

摘要: The invention pertains to a method for preparing a composite printing form from a single precursor that is capable of forming a relief and a carrier. The single precursor can be a single photosensitive element or a single laser-engravable print element having a reinforced elastomeric layer. The single precursor has a size that is at least 70% of a size of the carrier. The single precursor is located on the carrier by approximately positioning the precursor on the carrier that has no registration markings. Precise registration of the single precursor is achieved by using digital information generated from a computer to create the registered image on the composite form. The method is particularly suited for preparing composite printing forms for relief printing, and in particular for preparing composite printing forms for flexographic printing of corrugated substrates.
