摘要: In an MEA member constituted by a polymer electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) and a frame and in a polymer electrolyte fuel cell including this MEA member, the MEA and the frame can be easily separated from each other without using any special tool.An MEA member 7 includes an MEA 5 and a plate-shaped resin frame 6, and a separating portion for separating the MEA 5 from the frame 6 is formed in the MEA member 7. The MEA 5 includes a polymer electrolyte membrane 2 and a pair of electrodes 3 and 4 respectively disposed on both main surfaces of the polymer electrolyte membrane 2. The frame 6 sandwiches and holds a peripheral portion of main surfaces of the MEA 5 such that the MEA 5 is located inside the frame. The separating portion is a broken-line cutoff line 50 formed on the frame 6 to divide the frame 6 into two or more parts or a partial sandwiching portion 55 located at an inner peripheral portion of the frame 6 to partially sandwich the peripheral portion of the MEA 5.

摘要: A polymer electrolyte fuel cell comprises a plurality of stacked cells each having an ionic conductive electrolyte membrane, an anode placed on one side of the electrolyte membrane, a cathode placed on the other side of the electrolyte membrane, and a conductive separator on which a first refrigerant channel for flow of a refrigerant is formed in center part thereof. The separator comprises penetration holes constituting a manifold which extend in a direction of stacking of the plurality of cells and through which the refrigerant flows and second refrigerant channels for communication between the penetration holes and the first refrigerant channel. A plurality of protrusions that protrude into the penetration holes from parts of wall surfaces of the penetration holes that are located peripherally in connection parts between the penetration holes and the second refrigerant channels.

摘要: A cathode foil for a solid electrolytic capacitor is designed to increase capacitance, reduce ESR and leakage current, enhance heat resistance, and reduce production costs, while enhancing a power density, realizing rapid charging-discharging, and improving a life property, in an electric energy storage element such as a secondary battery, an electric double layer capacitor and a hybrid capacitor. A cathode foil or a current collector may include a metal foil, a metal layer, a mixed layer containing carbon and a substance composing the metal layer in a mixed state, and a carbon layer consisting substantially of carbon, each formed on the metal foil. The mixed layer is configured to have a composition changing from a state containing substantially only the substance composing the metal layer to a state containing substantially only carbon, in a direction from the metal layer to the carbon layer.
