摘要： A Fabri-Perot filter includes: a substrate; a first mirror disposed on the substrate; and a movable mirror unit facing the first mirror with a gap therebetween. The movable mirror unit is movable toward the first mirror in a case where a predetermined voltage is applied between the first mirror and the movable mirror unit so that the gap is changeable. The filter is capable of transmitting an infrared light having a predetermined wavelength corresponding to the gap. The movable mirror unit includes a center portion and a periphery portion, which is deformable easier than the center portion.

摘要： A transfer unit includes: an intermediate transfer belt that (i) holds a toner image that has been transferred, at a primary transfer part, from a photoreceptor drum and (ii) rotates to move a surface holding the toner image; and a secondary transfer belt that comes into contact, at a secondary transfer part, with the intermediate transfer belt. The transfer unit (i) transfers the toner image from the intermediate transfer belt to a sheet conveyed to the secondary transfer part and (ii) includes an intermediate transfer belt cleaning unit that removes and collects toner from the toner image holding surface of the intermediate transfer belt. The transfer unit also includes secondary transfer power source for sequentially applying, to the secondary transfer belt, (i) a first voltage for generating an electric field that transfers normally-charged toner from the secondary transfer belt to the intermediate transfer belt and (ii) a second voltage for generating an electric field that transfers oppositely-charged toner from the secondary transfer belt to the intermediate transfer belt. Therefore, the toner from the secondary transfer belt can be suitably transferred to an intermediate transfer belt, and the secondary transfer belt can be desirably cleaned.

摘要： An infrared sensor includes a substrate, a membrane as a small-thickness portion formed on the substrate, a detecting element for generating a detection signal on the basis of temperature variation occurring when receiving infrared rays, at least a part thereof being formed on the membrane, and an infrared ray absorption film formed on the membrane so as to cover at least a part of the detecting element. The detecting element is externally electrically connected through a sensor pad portion provided at an end portion of the detecting element. A substrate surface including the sensor pad portion and the infrared ray absorption film is coated by a protection film made of parylene.

摘要： An infrared gas detector for detecting a density of a sample gas includes an infrared light sensor for detecting the density of the sample gas under an influence of water vapor based on an intensity of received infrared light of a specific wavelength, and a humidity sensor for detecting an absolute humidity of the water vapor in the sample gas based on an intensity of the received infrared light of the specific wavelength. The density of the sample gas is determined by correcting for the influence of the water vapor included therein based on the absolute humidity in the sample gas detected by the humidity sensor.

The sensitive electrode is used in combination with the reference electrode. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a pair of electrodes for detecting the acidity or the basicity of the oil which use a novel electrode material not hazardous to the environment and at the same time, suited for use in a semiconductor fabrication technique.

摘要： A rear-projection screen for a rear-projection image display comprising a Fresnel lens sheet (2) and a lenticular lens sheet (3), or a Fresnel lens sheet (2), a lenticular lens sheet (3) and a light absorbing sheet (4). The entrance surface (21) of the Fresnel lens sheet (2) or the entrance surface (41) of the light absorbing sheet (4) is formed by contiguously and vertically arranging a plurality of horizontally elongate lenticular lenses. The thickness of the Fresnel lens sheet (2) is approximately equal to that of the lenticular lens sheet (3). The entrance surface (31) and the exit surface (32) of the lenticular lens sheet (3) are formed by contiguously and horizontally arranging a plurality of vertically elongate lenticular lenses. Particles of a light diffusing material, which is essential to the prior art rear-projection screen, are not necessarily dispersed in the base sheet (30) of the lenticular lens sheet (3). The rear-projection image display provided with this rear-projection screen has satisfactory focusing characteristics and enhanced vertical directional characteristics and is capable of displaying an image in high brightness and high contrast.

摘要： In a projection lens device having at least two plastic lenses for magnification-projecting an original image displayed on a display screen onto a screen, one of the two plastic lens is convex at a center thereof toward the screen and concave at a periphery thereof, and the other lens has a weak positive refractive power toward the screen at a center thereof and a stronger positive refractive power at a periphery thereof. A variation of a lens power due to a change of a surrounding environment is cancelled out by the concave shape at the periphery of the one lens and the positive refractive power at the periphery of the other lens.

摘要： In the belt according to the present invention, the whole or a part of a belt body is formed from a thermoplastic resin composition (C) comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) and a modified ethylene copolymer (B) dispersed and contained therein. The modified ethylene copolymer (B) is preferably a copolymer, modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, of ethylene with at least one monomer component selected from (i) olefin components except for ethylene, (ii) diene components and (iii) ester components having an ethylenically unsaturated group. The belt according to the present invention hardly causes abrasion, damage, cracks, breakage and the like on the belt body and is remarkably excellent in durability, even if the belt is used at a high load for a long time.
