Abstract: A system may receive, from a dongle device (“dongle”), a connection request to receive mobile communication service (“service”) associated with a service campaign (“campaign”) for a mobile device: the mobile device being associated with a first service provider (“SP”); the dongle being associated with a second SP and the campaign; the dongle being configured to provide the service from the second SP to the mobile device; and the connection request including a dongle device identifier (“identifier”) associated with the dongle. The system may compare the identifier with stored identifiers associated with the campaign. The system may determine that the identifier is associated with the campaign if the identifier matches one of the stored identifiers and may cause a connection to be established to provide the service to the mobile device via the dongle based on the identifier being associated with the campaign.

Abstract: A device obtains a list of a plurality of user devices from a first network device and receives a message intended for a destination user device from a second network device. The device obtains information indicating that the destination user device can receive messages that conform to a particular format from a third network device and converts the message to the particular format. The device determines a reachability of the destination user device based on the list of the plurality of user devices, after converting the message, and sends the message to the destination user device via the first network device based on the reachability. The device receives a delivery message from the destination user device and sends a notification message indicating successful delivery of the message to the second network device based on the delivery message.

The network device generates a device behavior profile based on the parameters associated with the usage profile, and causes the device behavior profile and an application to be sent to the at least one IoT device, where the application controls the at least one IoT device's transmission or reception via the wireless network using the device behavior profile.

Abstract: A device may receive signal information associated with a wireless signal or charge information associated with a charge level. The signal information may indicate a signal strength of the wireless signal. The charge information may indicate the charge level of a battery of the device. The device may determine whether the signal strength or the charge level satisfies a threshold. The device may configure a parameter or a setting of the device to cause the device to operate according to a long term evolution (LTE) category based on determining whether the signal strength or the charge level satisfies the threshold. The LTE category may be different from a default LTE category of the device and may define an uplink/downlink capability specification. The device may attach to a network in association with configuring the parameter or the setting to cause the device to operate according to the LTE category.

Abstract: A method for signaling and call continuity for coverage enhancement may include selecting a cell while a user equipment (UE) device is in a radio resource control (RRC) idle state, determining if a signal level from an evolved NodeB (eNodeB) associated with the cell is sufficient for normal coverage, exchanging data with a network in a normal UE device mode via the cell upon determining that the signal level is sufficient for normal coverage, determining if a signal level from the eNodeB associated with the cell is sufficient for enhanced coverage upon determining that the signal level is not sufficient for normal coverage, and exchanging data with the network in an enhanced UE device mode via the cell upon determining that the signal level is sufficient for enhanced coverage.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium provide an eDRX service that may be implemented for idle mode and/or connected mode of an end device. A network device stores eDRX data as a part of subscription data. The network device may provide the eDRX data to another network device that manages eDRX for end devices. The eDRX data may indicate to use global default eDRX timer values, subscriber-based eDRX timer values, ranges of eDRX timer values, and single-valued eDRX timer values. Each type of eDRX timer value may be provisioned on a per end device basis, a per radio access technology type basis, and/or a per application type basis.

Abstract: Generation and segregation of mobile device biometric application template storage is described. Applications request a memory domain within mobile device storage for storing enrolled templates in the domain. The application calls a secure API associated with the biometric driver and software of the mobile device. As a result, the biometric driver and software does not search a number of domains to locate the enrolled templates that correspond to the mobile application or search all enrolled templates stored in memory. The mobile device applications maintain control of the storage domain and the template. The enrolled template may only be deleted through the controlling mobile device application.
