    摘要: The present invention relates to a panoramic X-ray imaging apparatus capable of obtaining more accurate panoramic X-ray images while minimizing the rotation of a rotation arm, the panoramic X-ray imaging apparatus includes at least one X-ray source configured to irradiate X-rays and an X-ray sensor configured to receive the X-rays, a rotating arm configured to position the X-ray sensor and the X-ray source to face each other, a driver configured to rotate the rotating arm about a rotating shaft, a guide configured to provide directions for moving the X-ray sensor or the X-ray source, and wherein the at least one X-ray source is of an electric field emission type adopting an emitter of a nanostructure material and the X-ray source or the X-ray sensor is relatively movable along the guide in conjunction with a movement of the rotating arm.

    摘要: C-arm systems and method for making and using continuous C-arm spin acquisition trajectories for dynamic imaging and improved image quality are described. In such systems and methods, a C-arm gantry, coupled to a C-arm support assembly, is adapted to retain an x-ray source and an x-ray detector. The C-arm gantry is selectively rotatable relative to the C-arm support assembly about both a C-arm axis and a pivot-axis to displace the x-ray source and the x-ray detector along a continuous C-arm spin trajectory. The C-arm system is adapted for continuous three-dimensional acquisition of data along the continuous C-arm spin trajectory including a plurality of shorts arcs and a plurality of long arcs. The C-arm system is adapted for continuous three-dimensional acquisition of data along the continuous C-arm spin trajectory to provide continuous three-dimensional imaging of dynamic processes.

    摘要: Irrespective of the layout, moving path, and moving range of the X-ray source and the detector, a highly precise image is acquired, in a similar manner as an X-ray CT scanner that is capable of acquiring a measured image using a rotation angle of 180 degrees or more. A measured image detected by the detector is converted into a rotationally measured image that is acquired by rotationally moving the X-ray source and the detector along concentric circular paths. Then, the rotationally measured image at every measurement angle is provided with a weight that gives intensity variation equivalent to that of the reconstructed image obtained from the rotationally measured images acquired by the measurement using the rotation angle range of 180 degrees, a reconstruction operation is performed, and a reconstructed image is obtained.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for obtaining a thick-slice image from tilted thin-slice computed-tomography (CT) projection data. Tilted CT projection data is obtained for a series of projection planes, wherein the projection planes are parallel for all scans, and the translation direction between CT scans is not orthogonal to the projection planes (i.e., the projection planes are tilted relative to the translation direction between CT scans). Thin-slice images are reconstructed from the respective CT scans, and then grouped into thick-slice groupings. An offset results among the thin-slice images within a thick-slice grouping due to the tilt of the projection planes. This offset is compensated by interpolating and resampling the thin-slice images onto non-offset pixel grids. The interpolated and resampled thin-slice images are then averaged pixel-by-pixel to obtain thick-slice images having the same tilt angle as the thin-slice images.
