Abstract:
A cutting unit for comminuting bulky feedstock and a device into which such a cutting unit is integrated. The cutting unit has a cutting chamber, which is arranged along a conveying direction and is formed by paired opposite cross walls and longitudinal walls. A knife for comminuting the feedstock can be moved transverse to the conveying direction across the entire cross section of the cutting chamber from one cross wall to the opposite cross wall. To also assure the complete cutting through of fiber-containing or film-shaped feedstock, a counter knife is arranged in the cross wall opposite to the blade of the knife which is stationary relative to the cutting chamber and which during the cutting process forms a cutting gap with the blade of the knife. The wall segment of the opposite cross wall is placed movable in the advance direction of the knife.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method to process compostable waste. The apparatus includes a shredding module, a grinding module, and a bagging module. The shredding module may operate to shred non-food compostable waste into shredded waste. The grinding module may operate to combine the shredded waste with food waste into combined waste, add water to the combined waste if an insufficient moisture condition exists for further processing, and grind the combined waste into particulate waste. The bagging module may operate to bag the particulate waste into a compostable bag.

Abstract:
A method and system for coal ash reclamation from a land fill, the system comprising: a harvester; a screen for screening non-ash material from ash collected by the harvester; a dryer for drying raw ash thereby creating dried coal ash and fine particulate ash; an exhaust pipe to direct the ash to a dust collector; a crusher for crushing the dried ash; a classifier for classifying the crushed dried ash; and a storage container for storage. The method comprising: harvesting raw coal ash from a land fill; screening the raw coal ash to remove oversize materials; drying the screened ash to remove water; crushing the stream of dried ash; classifying the crushed ash into fine particulate ash and large particulate ash, the second stream being directed for further crushing; streams of fine particulate ash being cooled; and storing the fine particulate ash.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a vacuum cracking apparatus for a power battery and a cracking method thereof. The cracking device includes a cylinder and further includes a rolling device, a first sealing device, a cracking device, a second sealing device, a pyrolysis device and a third sealing device which are arranged from top to bottom. The cracking device for the power battery of the present invention is equipped with the first sealing device, the second sealing device and the third sealing device to isolate the cracking device from the pyrolysis device and be capable of realizing material transmission and gas isolation without interference with each other, so that gas stirring between an anaerobic zone and an aerobic zone is avoided; and by combing battery cracking and battery pyrolysis, with cracked gas discharged after cracking as a fuel for cracking and pyrolysis or preheating a pyrolysis device, resources are fully used.
Abstract:
A food waste disposer includes: a housing; a grinding case positioned inside the housing and configured to be separable from inside of the housing to outside of the housing and treat food waste; a rotating grinder configured to treat the food waste by rotating inside the grinding case and rotatably coupled with respect to a bottom surface of the grinding case; a grinder rotating shaft inserted in the rotating grinder and configured to rotate together with the rotating grinder; and a driver positioned below the grinding case and configured to provide rotation power of the rotating grinder, wherein the driver includes: a driving motor configured to generate power; a shaft driving gear configured to rotate by receiving power of the driving motor; and a connecting shaft configured to be rotatable within a range of a first angle with respect to the shaft driving gear, wherein one end of the connecting shaft is inserted in the grinder rotating shaft and another end of the connecting shaft is inserted in the shaft driving gear to transfer power from the shaft driving gear to the grinder rotating shaft.
Abstract:
Baffles for food waste disposers, systems employing such baffles, and methods of assembling, manufacturing, fabricating, or operating such baffles or baffle systems are disclosed herein. In one example embodiment, a baffle for implementation in connection with a food waste disposer includes a rim portion, a plurality of flaps, and a plurality of living hinges, wherein the rim portion, living hinges, and flaps constitute a single integrally-formed structure. The respective living hinges permit the respective flaps to be rotatable about respective axes that respectively are substantially tangent to respective locations along or proximate to the rim portion, so that the respective flaps can be rotated to respective closed positions. Either the living hinges or at least one additional component tend to cause the respective flaps to remain at the respective closed positions or to return to the respective closed positions when not at the respective closed positions.
