A window guide arrangement for guiding movement of a vehicle window along a curvilinear path defined by a fixed guide member includes a sash plate secured to the window and having a bearing seat molded about a bearing provided with diametrical ribs whereby the bearing seat has grooves which cooperate with the bearing ribs in limiting rotation of the bearing to a plane containing the curvilinear path of movement of the window as the bearing rotates within the seat during movement of the bearing and sash plate along the guide member.

A gate system includes a cam sled having a cam plate configured to slide along a rail. The gate system also includes a cam follower engaged with the cam plate and coupled to a gate assembly. Actuation of a power source to move the cam sled along the rail causes the gate assembly to rotate about an axis and mechanically lock into position in open or closed orientations of the gate assembly.

A window regulator comprises a carrier plate, a drive unit, a raising cable, a lowering cable, and a guide rail. The carrier plate is attached to a lower part on a first edge part side of the windowglass. The drive unit is capable of raising and lowering the windowglass via the carrier plate. The drive unit and the carrier plate are coupled by the raising cable and the lowering cable. The guide rail mates with the carrier plate so as to guide the carrier plate and constrain the operation of the windowglass to directions that intersect movement directions of the carrier plate.

A method for producing a carrier element for a window lifting device in which adjustment of a glass is performed by means of a traction means, the carrier element being displaceable along a guide rail of the window lifting device and being connected to the traction means, is provided. The completed carrier element has at least two interconnected bodies which are produced from dissimilar materials having dissimilar melting points, and the carrier element having the at least two bodies is produced by a multicomponent injection-molding method. In the production of the carrier element by the multicomponent injection-molding method a body from a material melting at a lower temperature is molded before a body from a material melting at a higher temperature, and the body from the material melting at a higher temperature is molded to the body from the material melting at a lower temperature.

In a window regulator, a positioner is provided between a pair of slider bases and a pair of windowpane holders and define a relative position therebetween in a forward/rearward direction of a vehicle; a vehicle-widthwise-directional wall is provided on each guide rail; and a pair of forward/rearward directional guide walls is provided on each slider base to hold an associated vehicle-widthwise-directional wall in the forward/rearward direction and to guide an associated slider base along an associated guide rail. A clearance in the forward/rearward direction between the vehicle-widthwise-directional wall of one guide rail and the forward/rearward-directional guide walls of one slider base is set smaller than that between the vehicle-widthwise-directional wall of the other guide rail and the forward/rearward-directional guide walls of the other slider base.

A motor vehicle sliding door that may be supported by a pillar of the motor vehicle and having a sliding door assembly with a self-adaptive carriage. The self-adaptive carriage can allow for attachment of the door to the vehicle body at the A, B, or C pillars with reduced movement efforts and increased stability while accommodating manufacturing tolerance variation over large scale production runs.

Overhead door decelerator assemblies and associated devices, systems, and methods are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a door assembly includes a door, an elongated door track, and a brush proximate the door track. The door includes a guide member extending outwardly from a side edge portion of the door. The brush is positioned such that moving the door between open and closed positions causes the guide member to deflect a resilient portion (e.g., a plurality of bristles, a plurality of flaps, or a blade) of the brush at regions of the resilient portion consecutively positioned along the length of the brush. The brush can be positioned away from the door when the door is in the closed position and in contact with a portion of the door when the door is in the open position.

A path-controlled window lifter of a motor vehicle is provided. The path-controlled window lifter includes a driver which is connected with a window pane of the motor vehicle and can be driven by means of a drive mechanism for adjusting the window pane, and a base plate mounted in the motor vehicle and composed of a carrier part and a reinforcement part, on which at least two guide paths are formed for guiding the driver and for adjusting the driver along an adjustment path formed by the guide paths. The carrier part and the reinforcement part are arranged at a distance from each other, but connected to each other at defined areas.

A device comprising a guide having a first pair of substantially parallel running surfaces, which are placed along a first track at a lateral distance apart, and a second pair of substantially parallel running surfaces, which are placed along a second track at a lateral distance apart. The second pair of running surfaces extends, at a crossing or junction, transversely to the first pair of running surfaces. A carrier is displaceable over at least the running surfaces and has a bearing axle, extending transversely to the running surfaces, for fastening of a load, which bearing axle extends between the running surfaces. The device, close to the crossing/junction, has a transport mechanism. The transport mechanism is movable between a take-up position in the first track, for load-bearing engagement with the carrier, and a delivery position in the second track, for release of the carrier. The invention further relates to a rail system and a transport mechanism.
