    摘要: Generally, the present disclosure is related to systems and methods for separating hydrocarbons and/or other liquids from drill cuttings material. One illustrative embodiment disclosed herein is directed to a system that includes, among other things, a thermal reactor that is adapted to remove liquid from drill cuttings material by heating the drill cuttings material to at least a first temperature that is sufficiently high enough to vaporize the liquid. The illustrative system also includes a feeder system that is adapted to controllably feed a flow of the drill cuttings material to the thermal reactor, and a control system that is adapted to control the flow of the drill cuttings material from the feeder system so as to maintain a temperature in the thermal reactor at or above the first temperature.

    摘要: The invention relates to a system (100) for the cleaning of sand, originating from subterranean oil production and comprises separation of sand from adhering oil out of a sand/oil/water slurry. The sand is cleaned through treatment in a hydrocyclone (13) through rubbing against themselves and the walls of the hydrocyclone. The hydrocyclone discharges the larger/heavier particles into a vessel (1), wherein the vessel has a discharge port (3) for the sand. A fluid extractor (34) is provided between the hydrocyclone (13) and the discharge port of the vessel (1), for extracting fluid from the vessel (1) to permit an increased flow rate of sand into the vessel. The invention also relates to a method of cleaning sand and a method of increasing the flow rate of sand through a hydrocyclone cleaning system as described above.

Fluid is introduced to the vessel through an angled inlet, with flow into the vessel both disrupted and deflected by an inlet baffle, to redirect the fluid stream parallel to a horizontal axis of the vessel. The velocity of the fluid stream is reduced within the vessel, allowing the particulate matter to settle along the bottom of the vessel.
